The end scene appeared to be a fantasy of Hank watching himself on the beach with the family he no longer had. He was probably blogging these words, and this was what he wished was true. Becca had told him that she loved him no matter what he did, but Hank knew as she matured that wouldn't remain true. He needed to figure out how to fix his messes and get back on track before that happened.
