Answer: Phoebe Wallingford

Phoebe, an original character and portrayed by Ruth Warrick, appeared at the hospital on the show's 35th anniversary episode (broadcast on January 5th, 2006), in which the hospital celebrated Dr. Joe Martin's 35 years of being on staff at the hospital. Warrick had poor health for the past several years and made very few appearances. Warrick died on January 15th, 2005 due to complications from pneumonia.

She was 89 years old.

Bianca decided that she wanted a fresh start and told her family and friends she would be leaving town with Miranda. Maggie, at the time, just broke up with Jonathan Lavery after he abused her and Bianca asked Maggie to come with her. Maggie said no, at first, but she changed her mind and accompanied Bianca and Miranda on their move to Paris.

Answer: Diana "Di" Henry

Krystal was sentenced to ten years in prison for her role in the kidnapping of Miranda Montgomery. She met a prisoner named Diana "Di" Henry and, when Tad Martin visited Krystal one day, Di recognized who Tad was. Di was released and applied to be a nanny for Adam Chandler III and used the name "Diana Cole." It turned out that Di was Dixie Cooney's half sister (they shared the same father but had different mothers) and David paid her to impersonate Dixie. Di claimed she was Dixie but, several months later, she told all of Dixie's family and friends she was not Dixie.

We learned, in April, that Jonathan had killed Edmund Grey when he set the stables at Wildwind on fire (he knocked out Edmund and Edmund died as a result of inhaling a lot of smoke). Jonathan took Kendall, Greenlee, and Lily hostage and locked them into a cave. Kendall and Greenlee worked to escape the cage and managed to get Lily out as well. Ryan confronted Jonathan and he shot Jonathan in self-defense.

The cave exploded, with Jonathan and Ryan inside, and Jonathan was presumed dead. He turned up alive in August of 2005.

Edmund had won a prestigious award but he died in February so he was not on hand to accept the award. Maria, his widowed wife, attended the awards ceremony and Brooke gave a speech and then gave the award to Maria. Maria, who had a lot to drink that night, told Brooke to keep the award since, according to Maria, Brooke had everything: Wildwind (Edmund named Brooke the executor of Wildwind in his will and left the estate to Sam and Maddie.

Maria decided that she needed a fresh start and to get away from all the bad memories of Pine Valley so she told both Sam and Maddie that they would move to California to be with Hayley and Mateo. Sam and Maddie had problems with Maria due to her closeness with Zach Slater but Maria insisted they remain a family. Maria left town with Maddie and Sam stayed in Pine Valley for about six more months and lived with Anita.

In December of 2005, Sam moved to California to be with Maria and Maddie.

Danielle met Josh Madden on the beach, one night, and they had a good time. They went to a cabin and made love and slept together. Danielle told Reggie, her boyfriend at the time, about her night with Josh and Reggie broke up with her.

Jack was not happy when he learned that Greenlee was pregnant with Ryan's baby. Jack hated how Ryan's brother, Jonathan, imprisoned two of his children (Greenlee and Lily) and he thought Ryan was bad news. Erica comforted Jack when he told her he was upset about Greenlee's pregnancy and wished she was not expecting. Greenlee miscarried the baby and Kendall offered to be a surrogate for her. Greenlee accepted Kendall's offer.

Adam got Krystal sprung from prison early when he made a call to the Governor of Pennsylvania. They teamed up to prove that Diana "Di" Henry was not really Dixie (See question 3 for more) and went to Crow Hollow to get information her. While they were there, they both got drunk and wound up married. Adam tried to get a quick divorce from Krystal but she refused to sign the papers. Adam and Krystal hated each other but they eventually fell in love but divorced, for the first time, in December of 2007.

Mimi had returned to town in June of 2005 to try and make amends with her estranged daughter, Danielle Frye. Mimi was engaged to be married to Garrett Williams and they tied the knot in September of 2005. Danielle claimed to her mother that Garrett was sexually interested in her but Mimi refused to believe her daughter. Garrett was also the man who killed Julia Santos' husband, Noah Keefer. Julia killed Garrett in self defense and Mimi realized that her daughter was telling the truth about Garrett. Mimi and Danielle made amends and Mimi returned back home to New York City.
