Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the very beginning of the episode, what did we see Apollo doing that was completely out of the ordinary?

Answer: Floating in water

We heard Apollo breathing somewhat loudly, floating in what appears to be a lake. He was then interrupted by the sound of a Cylon Raider. The scene was broken up when a Viper flew by shooting at a Raider, and Apollo was seen floating in space with a groggy look on his face. The episode then changed to 48 hours before the scene.
2. In the brig on Pegasus, two specialists and marines came by and began to pummel Tyrol and Helo. Who stopped the attack?

Answer: Colonel Fisk

Specialists Vireem and Gage entered the brig behind armed marines, and began to tie up Tyrol and Helo. They pounded the Galactica officers with bars of soap until Colonel Fisk arrived to stop the attack. He berated his own men for assaulting officers in a time of war and mentioned that the penalty is very severe, and then let them leave. Tyrol and Helo thanked him for the act, but he responded that he didn't want their thanks.
3. As the battlestars prepared to go into battle, Starbuck and Fisk passed each other in a Pegasus hallway in an eerie meeting of two potential assassins. Who spoke first, and what did he/she say?

Answer: Colonel Fisk says "Good hunting, Captain."

Fisk, accompanied by an assortment of marines, passed Starbuck in the hall and gave her the encouragement "Good hunting, Captain", to which she replied "You too, Colonel." Of course, both were on orders to execute the other's superior.
4. Adama met with Sharon to find out why Cylons hated humans so much. Sharon replied with Adama's speech in the miniseries: "You said that humanity was a flawed creation, and that people still kill one another for petty jealousy and greed. You said that humanity never asked itself why it deserved to survive." What did she say next?

Answer: "Maybe you don't."

Adama appeared to be questioning his own order to kill Admiral Cain after meeting with Apollo in an earlier scene. After hearing Sharon's explanation of how maybe humanity didn't deserve to survive because they killed one another, he continued to ponder over whether or not to give Starbuck the final go.
5. During the battle, Apollo flew close to the Resurrection Ship and took out its engines. He then sped away, but soon after the Blackbird was destroyed and Apollo was ejected. What was the cause?

Answer: Apollo was looking back at the damaged Resurrection Ship and hit a Raptor

Apollo fired a missile into the FTLs on the Resurrection Ship, and while flying away kept looking over his right shoulder to survey the damage. As he turned back around, he hit a disabled Raptor, sending the Blackbird spinning out of control and causing Apollo to eject.
6. Apollo was drifting in space following his ejection from the Blackbird when he realized a problem. What did he notice?

Answer: Air was leaking from his suit

Apollo looked down towards his leg and saw that there was a small hole in his suit, leaking out air. As he covered it up, more small ruptures appear. He checked his oxygen supply and saw that it is nearly empty, and he began his labored breathing again, as was seen at the onset of the episode.

As time went on, he couldn't keep the holes closed, and in his dream/hallucination, he began to sink down into the water before a search and rescue Raptor saved him.
7. Following the battle, Cain called Adama over the wireless, just as both had planned. Which officer got to talk to their potential assassin first?

Answer: Adama

In an exceedingly tense scene, Adama asked for Starbuck before Cain could ask for Fisk. Adama told her, "It's not enough to survive, one has to be worthy of surviving. That's all." Cain got back on the line and asked for Fisk. Her conversation was much shorter, simply noting "Congratulations, Jack" and after a long pause: "That's all." Both assassins were greatly relieved to not have to go through with their missions.
8. After the Resurrection Ship was destroyed, what became of the Cylon prisoner?

Answer: Baltar let her go with a weapon in order to get justice

The Cylon wanted Baltar to shoot her since suicide is a sin, but Baltar would not go through with it. He said that he couldn't do it because she needed justice. He arranged a place for her to stay and be safe because he loved her. She left with a pistol.
9. Did anyone in a position of power in the Colonial fleet die in this episode? If so, whom?

Answer: Yes, Admiral Cain

Admiral Cain got back to her quarters, and the Cylon prisoner was there waiting. Before Cain was shot, they had the following exchange:
Cylon: "Tell me Admiral, can you roll over? Beg?"
Cain: "Frak you."
Cylon: "You're not my type."

The explanation for this came in the special "Razor".
10. Apollo was happy to make it back to the fleet alive.

Answer: False

Apollo was in a somber mood when Starbuck visited him on Galactica. Starbuck remarked that they should be glad that they both came back alive, but Lee replied: "That's just it, Kara. I didn't want to make it back alive." During the whole exchange, Dee was outside the door listening in.
