It was a Torto demon and its parasites. They were singing "Bye Bye Love". Bob Jesser played the Torto demon. He had a small role in the 2003 movie "An American Reunion". The Ethros was the type of demon trapped inside a little boy named Ryan in season one's "I've Got You Under My Skin".

The bartender was played Michael G. Hagerty. He sang "For He's a Jolly Good Fellow". Michael had a memorable role on "Friends" as Mr. Treeger. Gene was the lonely genius who was set to accidentally end the world.

The only time we saw Caritas was while Lorne recalled Gene's performance on Wednesday night. None of the cast members visited the bar in this episode. The pair also visited a karaoke bar called Lucinda. This was after 16 previous karaoke bars!

The Lubber attacked Angel in the library and guarded Gene's apartment building. They wanted the world to end and planned on overriding Gene's experiment to trap his lover in one perfect moment in time.
