Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Fill in the blank: "I'm just the type of guy who hates to see good ____ go to waste."

Answer: blood

Angel said this at the start of the episode. Two men working for Wolfram and Hart were performing a ritual. There was blood in the ritual, which prompted this sarcastic remark from Angel. "Angel" writer/producer David Fury played one of these men and Chris Horan played the other one. David played Gregor Framkin in the season five episode "Smile Time" as well.

He went to write for "Lost", "24" and "Fringe".
2. Kate had been subjected to desk duty pending the outcome of a hearing about her conduct as a police officer.

Answer: True

Angel went to Kate for help, seeing as he'd alienated all of his former employees. He thought she could use her cop resources to help put a crimp into whatever big plans Wolfram and Hart had eminent. She explained that the head cop, Atkinson, from the zombie cop precinct, had filed a formal complaint against her for allowing Angel in to kick the ritual out of him.

She was nearing her lowest point.
3. Who was Darla staying with during post-fire recovery?

Answer: Lindsey

Drusilla had come to Lindsey, which was not seen on screen, and told him where to find Darla before she herself went back to Sunnydale. Lindsey located Darla in a sewer and brought her to his home to recover from her wounds. She told him Drusilla would not be back, and that he was the only one who hadn't abandoned her. Drusilla went back to Sunnydale to retrieve Spike, who was only too happy to use her to prove his love to Buffy (episode "Crush"). Vampires!
4. Who told Angel that a Senior Partner was arriving on Friday for the Wolfram and Hart 75 Year Review?

Answer: The Host/Lorne

Angel needed the Host to tell him what had all of the lawyers in Caritas stressed out. The Host said a Senior Partner was coming and that he'd also picked up on the term 'Home Office'. At this point, we had not learned that the Host was named Lorne, so I included both names.
5. Was Kate fired from the police force?

Answer: Yes

Kate told her reviewers she'd been doing her job the last eight months. She was informed that what she'd been doing was isolating herself, alienating fellow officers, and obsessing over bizarre cases that even she could not explain. They felt she'd not taken the proper time to grieve the death of her father, and that it had caused her to spiral downward. Counseling was offered at the city's expense as part of her severance package, and she was asked to leave behind her gun and badge.
6. Who killed Denver?

Answer: Darla

We first met a much younger Denver in the second episode of season two, "Are You Now or Have You Ever Been". He was played by Brett Rickaby then and Thomas Kopache in this episode. Angel went back to him for aid, admitted his culpability in the hotel murders, and watched Darla kill him for the device that would grant access to the Senior Partner coming into town.
7. What did Denver have, that Angel needed to kill the demon Senior Partner coming in from the 'Home Office'?

Answer: Glove

The glove was acquired by Denver in 1975 at a yard sale. He told Angel he'd been using it as an oven mitt. It rather looked a bit like the Glove of Myhnegon from "Buffy" season three, "Revelations". He gave it to Angel free of charge for changing his life some forty years earlier. Angel used the glove to get a ring from the Senior Partner, which was supposed to grant him access to their Home Office.
8. Virgina and Wesley broke off their romance.

Answer: True

Wesley's dangerous life was too much for her, and she was letting him go before he died on her. She inquired to the possibility of him giving up his demon fighting lifestyle. He said "this is difficult for you, isn't it?" She said she just didn't like to see him hurt.

He said "I mean breaking up with me." She looked up at him. Not long afterward, Wes called Cordy to let her know he'd be skipping work the next day. Virginia was gone.
9. Who did Mrs. Sharp call, claiming to be ready to pay her debt?

Answer: Cordy

The Skilosh demons were not too happy about the removal of the daughter's third eye. It was their offspring, and they wanted to get some payback. After Mrs. Sharp called Cordy and Cordy agreed to come get the money, the demon snapped her neck. Cordy was in for a little 'third eye' impregnation of her own.
10. Holland Manners was Angel's guide on his trip to the 'Home Office'.

Answer: True

Holland's contract with the company extended beyond his death, so he and Angel took and elevator ride to this mysterious Home Office. Holland said that the trip there was a one way trip. Of course it was, it turned out that there was no real Home Office trip after all, and that Hell was life/living on Earth.

In the next episode, Lindsey told Darla the ring had been deactivated immediately after Angel stole it.
