Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Which pair of "Angel' writers co-wrote this episode?

Answer: Shawn Ryan and Jim Kouf

Diego Gutierrez was a writer, but served mostly on "Angel" and "BtVS" as Joss Whedon's assistant. He did achieve writing credit for the season six "Buffy" episode "Normal Again". Jim Kouf did go on to write for David Greenwalt's series "Grimm" in 2011. Shawn Ryan went on to write successfully for the FX Network series "The Shield". Marita Grabiak went on to write for "Lost", "One Tree Hill" and "Dollhouse". Tim Minear wrote close to twenty episodes of "Angel", and went on to write for "Dollhouse" and "American Horror Story". LeBron James has been best known as an all star NBA basketball player, who made a notorious choice to announce his departure from Cleveland in 2010 to play for the Miami Heat on live TV.
2. Who was Cordy talking about when she asked this of Gunn and Wesley? "You're tellin' me he got to be a movie star without a little demonic assistance?"

Answer: Steven Seagal

Wesley had been musing over the need for some demonic activity as the trio camped out, bored, in their new office space. Cordy then suggested that they buy one of the star maps and look for Steven Seagal. Gunn said it was okay with him if things stayed quiet. Wes pointed out that quiet might be good for mankind, but was bad for business, and that they needed to make a name for themselves.
Zac Efron was only thirteen years old when this episode aired. But, he did have a role in the 2002 "Firefly" episode "Safe".
3. What was the name of the young girl with extra eyeball, located on the back of her head?

Answer: Stephanie Sharp

Poor Stephanie had been attacked and bitten on her way home from swim practice. The next day, she awoke with the extra eye on her head. Her mom knew Wes' girlfriend, Virginia, from their country club. Actress Leah Pipes played Stephanie. She went on to guest star on "Bones", "Ghost Whisperer" and "The Deep End". Dawn Summers is Buffy's mystical little sister, and Tabitha Stevens is the young witch from "Bewitched". Christine Booth is the daughter of Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth on the series "Bones". David Boreanaz plays Booth.
4. When two young people came to Anne's shelter begging to be allowed inside, did she let them come in for the night?

Answer: Yes

She said "no" at first, because it was past ten at night, past curfew. They apologized and begged to be allowed inside, as something outside was scaring them. Anne commented that the shelter was already "packed to the rafters", but they said they'd sleep on the floor.

She, knowing what kind of beasties could be lurking out on the streets, finally relented and allowed them inside. The guy, Kenny, later admitted that cops were abusing people on the streets. I could never figure out how Anne remembered Buffy so easily, but Angel the vampire rang no bells with her whatsoever.

She definitely met him in the "Buffy" episode "Lie to Me", back when she worshiped vamps and wanted to become one.
5. How did Angel stop the first zombie cop he encountered?

Answer: He kicked the cop's head off his body

The pair had a brief fight, which ended up with Angel kicking the head off the zombie body. Afterward, he went to visit Kate at her police station. The zombie cop was Peter Harkes, he'd died six months earlier.
6. Kate's father was one of the zombie cops.

Answer: False

Angel was able to tell Kate that the earth around her father's grave site was undisturbed. She broke into tears afterward and asked Angel who was making the zombie cops.
7. "Hey man, did someone have an apocalypse and forget to invite us?" Who said this?

Answer: Gunn

No sooner had he spoken the words, when a zombie cop appeared to do damage. They'd been out looking for just that thing, but the streets were oddly deserted, even in gang town. While one of his friends recorded the officer's harassment, Gunn repeatedly asked the man to explain what the problem was, and if they'd committed some kind of crime. Wesley appeared in the middle, and tried to get the cop to stop what he was doing. So, the cop turned and shot Wesley instead.

The trio fought off the cop, and escorted Wesley away from the scene.
8. Where did Gunn take Wesley after the ambulance driver was shot down by police?

Answer: The teen shelter

After Wes was loaded into the ambulance, Gunn told his two pals to meet him back at the shelter. He wanted to ride with Wes to the hospital. Unfortunately, the driver was gunned down by the bad cops, and Gunn had to do some quick driving to get them out safely.

He drove back to the shelter, and they hid inside. Cordy and the other medic worked on Wes, but it wasn't looking good. The place was quickly surrounded by zombie cops. so they couldn't get Wes to a hospital.
9. Who stopped the zombie cops by breaking the idol of the zombie god?

Answer: Angel

He fought the human cop in charge, finally breaking the idol and destroying the shrine. Afterward, Gunn tried to get the criminal Jackson to help him move Wesley. Jackson refused, and Cordy helped get Wes out.
10. Who told Angel that "this job is making me crazy"?

Answer: Kate

Angel responded with, "I know the feelin'". Then Kate got the report on Wesley's shooting and asked Angel if that was the guy who worked for him. The episode ended with Gunn and Wesley talking in the hospital and Angel looking on from afar. Cordy caught him there, and chastised him for not caring.

She told him to stay away. He took one last look at the three of them together and walked away.
