After the gang battled and killed the Thrall demon, Angel needed some time to himself. He saw Darla walking along the Promenade and just when he was about to catch up with her... she's gone.

2. Flashing back to days of old: Darla showed Angelus her newest idea of a fun time. It was an innocent seer walking with her family. How many sisters did Drusilla have with her?

Answer: 2

The flashback showed Drusilla with her family, walking down a street. Just as Angel stated on "Buffy", he killed Drusilla's family and we saw her tormented. He and Darla became intimate in front of Dru before her being sired, which was not shown.

If it were actually Darla (Dieta Kramer) and her "husband's" home, one of them would have had to invite Angel in to attack them in the first place. Kate was so bent on revenge that she missed that clue which would let her know Darla was a liar. Kate still held Angel responsible for her father's death in season one, but Cordy reminded her that Angel would have needed an invite into the home to validate Darla's sob story.

Gunn did not realize that Angel could turn evil from that one perfect moment of happiness. He explained to Cordy and Wes if the bad Angel walked into the hotel, he would dust him. Cordy did say that Angel was 248 years old in this episode, but he corrected her and said he was only 247.

This was a continuity mistake. Angel said (in season two of "Buffy") that he was 242 years old. It had only been two and half years since that time. Up until season five (of this series) it was believed that Angel had not sired anyone, only Angelus, who did sire Drusilla.

The Master sired Darla, and Drusilla sired Spike.
