The faculty in the meeting agreed that it wasn't appropriate. One of them suggested "Grease" or "Annie" as alternatives, but there was some concern that "Grease" used the "f-word". Then the faculty closed the door to engage in a satanic prayer.

The boys led the girls to a stump in the woods, reputed to be a ceremonial altar. Then they read out an invocation, expecting to scare the girls and subsequently "comfort" them. When rats started swarming the ground, though, the girls ran off and Jerry was killed.

Scully was saying that there was nothing odd about the place, when she was cut off mid-sentence by toads falling on her and Mulder's umbrellas and bouncing down to the ground.

He claimed that the Coriolis in the Northern Hemisphere dictated that water should go down drains clockwise, but this water wasn't. The claim, of course, is based on a common urban legend, but the direction of the water draining doesn't really have anything to do with hemisphere.

She specified that they were hog embryos as she passed them out, and discussed the assignment guidelines, mentioning that extra credit would be given for dissecting the heart. The last embryo was fed to the huge class snake. As the students started their dissection, Shannon saw her pig's heart beat and the head move. Scully and Mulder came to talk to her about what she was remembering.

She remembered the cult getting her pregnant and killing the babies. She said there were three infants buried in her stepfather's cellar. She also claimed her sister was killed as a sacrifice when she was 8 years old.

Mrs. Paddock took her charm bracelet while she was re-doing the dissection. In her office, Mrs. Paddock used black magic to make Shannon slit her wrists with a scalpel.

When the power went out in the classroom, Mrs. Paddock stole Scully's pen off of the counter. She then used it to mimic Scully's voice and draw Mulder away from Jim Ausbury's house and to the school.

The python snuck into the cellar where Mulder had left Jim handcuffed, and squeezed him to death before eating him. Then we saw Mrs. Paddock in her office working over her candle, her eyes transformed into snake's eyes. When Scully and Mulder got back, there was just a pile of bones on the floor.

They attacked them and dragged them into the shower room, saying it would be easier to clean up the blood there. Before they could make the sacrifice, though, one of the men shot the other two cult members and then reloaded and shot himself. Mrs. Paddock had made them do it because, as she confirmed, it was "too late".
