His parents gave it to their younger child Teddy to stop his crying. His father tried to distract him with ice cream, but he was not going to settle for less than his balloon.

2. Where did Mulder say he learned about helium?

Answer: Kindergarten

He told Scully that he'd learned about helium in kindergarten and knew that helium balloons should travel upward. He then pointed out that the balloon Teddy had been following was moving sideways. Scully, ever the skeptic, asked if he had learned about wind in kindergarten.

3. What shape was Golda drawing on Charlie's hand?

Answer: swastika

Scully followed Charlie into the hallway and saw Golda drawing it on his hand. Mulder later told her that it was also known as a gammadion or a fylfot, an ancient symbol of good luck and protection.
