When Catwoman was first seen, she liked seeing Robin under The Sandman's spell so he handed him off to her. Catwoman then mentioned that Robin would be her new assistant and help her carry out her crimes. However, The Sandman reminded her that he would only aid her while he was under the spell.

The Sandman and Catwoman spoke about J. Pauline Spaghetti and both claimed that they would share in the fortune that they snagged from her. Catwoman took a dazed Robin to a maze and showed him the entrance and the exit to the maze. She informed him that it might take him his entire life to even get through the maze and then attempted to coax him to try and go through it. However, Robin snapped out of the spell, which upset her.

Batman informed Commissioner Gordon that he did not have his Batmobile with him so Commissioner Gordon offered to send a squad car for Batman. However, Batman insisted on using the subway system since it was quite speedy. When Batman got to the Batcave, he startled Alfred, as the butler claimed to have not heard the Batmobile. Batman informed him he took the subway to Wayne Station and then walked back to the Batcave.

Commissioner Gordon was on the phone with Batman via the Batphone when he got a call on the other line. He picked it up and Chief O'Hara informed him that The Sandman came in and kidnapped J. Pauline Spaghetti. Commissioner Gordon could not believe this happened so Chief O'Hara mentioned that The Sandman used his sleepy stethoscope on him and the other officers.

This rendered the police unable to protect Ms. Spaghetti.

The episode concluded with Alfred, Bruce, Dick and Harriet in the living room of Wayne Manor where Harriet mentioned she had been talking to an architect. She informed both Bruce and Dick that she and the architect had come up with an idea to redesign the garden of Wayne Manor by transforming it into a maze. Bruce interrupted to suggest that mazes came with a problem, that being they were sleep inducing and attracted cats. Bruce merely mentioned this as a play on Robin's bout with the tortuous maze he was stuck inside of due to The Sandman and Catwoman. Harriet decided it would be best not to have a maze.
