Although the U.S. military had investigated Lieutenant Tanner's claim regarding the drone attack and found no evidence that anyone else had taken control of the drone, Jack Bauer was convinced that there had to be something in the flight key data to prove his story.

He had Kate Morgan upload the data to Chloe O'Brian, and although O'Brian didn't see anything unusual in the data, Adrian Cross did. Morgan then notified Steve Navarro at the CIA field station, and after Jordan Reed confirmed the findings, President Heller was notified.

Heller ordered the drone fleet grounded. Unfortunately, six drones weren't able to be grounded before the terrorists took control of them.

Answer: President Heller

Margot Al-Harazi explained that her actions were the result of a drone attack three years prior that had killed her husband and innocent women and children. President Heller had authorized the strike, so Al-Harazi wanted him to pay for his deeds. Heller had been unaware that there had been civilian casualties during the attack; Chief of Staff Mark Boudreau knew but had not told Heller. Al-Harazi ordered Heller to surrender to her within three hours or thousands would die.

Answer: Bauer worked for him.

Jack Bauer had worked for Karl Rask for the past few years up until two weeks ago when Bauer discovered the plot against President Heller. Bauer later told Kate Morgan that he worked for Rask so that he could take down Rask's clients. When Morgan asked Bauer who he was working for, he told her "No one. This time I'm doing it for me".

Answer: It was an ambush.

Naveed told his wife, Simone Al-Harazi, that he had made Margot Al-Harazi's broadcast traceable so that they could be rescued. Margot's son Ian had detected Naveed's actions, however, and redirected the IP address and a drone to another location. Kate Morgan believed that it was a little too easy for the CIA to find the address, so she had Chloe O'Brian take a look at the transmission. O'Brian determined that a redirect had been inserted in the code, so Morgan called Steve Navarro to abort the operation, just as the drone bombed the building.

Answer: Margot Al-Harazi shot him.

Margot Al-Harazi's son, Ian, had detected the traceable code that Naveed had inserted into Margot's broadcast message. Naveed was already on Margot's list for trying to escape with Simone to avoid piloting the drones, and this was the last straw. Since Ian had learned how to pilot the drones, Naveed was no longer needed, so Margot shot him in front of Simone.

Answer: Boudreau didn't want to involve President Heller.

The Deputy Minister of the Russian Embassy wanted to discuss the transfer order for Jack Bauer. Mark Boudreau told him that the order had been rescinded since Bauer was needed for a field operation. The Deputy Minister told Boudreau that President Heller needed to call Moscow to explain why the order had been cancelled, and when Boudreau hesitated, the Deputy Minister began to suspect that Boudreau didn't want Heller involved. Boudreau agreed to call him back later to make arrangements to meet privately.

The Deputy Minister then took a close look at the signature on the order.

Answer: He didn't. She jabbed a needle full of Propofol in her neck.

"The Guardian" blogger Stuart Heritage anointed Kate Morgan as "LadyBauer". She may actually out-Bauer Bauer, judging by the stunned look on Bauer's face when Morgan jammed the needle into her neck with a "just make it count". Bauer had told Morgan that he needed to turn her over to Rask to earn back Rask's trust.

He didn't want Morgan to be interrogated, however, so he planned to turn her over to Rask unconscious. Unfortunately, Rask had a Propofol antidote, so Morgan was tortured anyhow, which she handled much like Bauer would.

Answer: MI5 attacked the building.

One of Prime Minister Davies' aides informed him of President Heller's Alzheimer's diagnosis, so Davies began to second-guess Heller's decisions, particularly the one where rogue agent Jack Bauer was given free rein to run around London. After seeing Bauer dump Morgan's body in a vehicle trunk/boot, Davies ordered MI5 to take him down. During the attack, however, Jack Bauer was able to press the enter key, and Chloe O'Brian was able to retrieve a cell phone number from the records.

Answer: She was hit by a bus while chasing her niece.

As Naveed's body was being taken away, his phone rang and a message from his sister played. Margot Al-Harazi told Simone to go and find out what Farah knew, and "do what needs to be done" if necessary. After Simone talked with Farah, she let Margot know that Farah knew nothing, but Margot didn't want to take any chances and told Simone to deal with it.

However Simone didn't want to kill Farah and her daughter Yasmin, so she told Farah to leave London. Farah was suspicious and tried to call the police, but Simone killed her in the struggle. Yasmin saw this and ran off with Simone chasing after her through traffic, until Simone smashed into a bus.

Answer: He planted the evidence against Kate Morgan's husband.

We knew the plot twist was coming -- did you expect it to be Steve Navarro? Analyst Jordan Reed told Navarro that he had noticed missing files in the data related to Kate Morgan's husband, who had reportedly been selling government secrets. Reed asked for permission to continue investigating, but Navarro told him to focus on the current mission. Navarro then left the area and made a mysterious phone call.

A distorted voice on the other end told him that they wouldn't be able to protect him if Reed discovered the truth.
