Juliet was helping herself to some vials inside the lab. Edmund walked in with Sherry, his new research assistant (learned a bit later in the episode), and Juliet's cellphone rang. This gave away her hiding spot. Edmund was Juliet's ex-husband and current boss in the flashback.
The vials had some non-specific writing on them. I couldn't discern their actual use. They had "Test sample, A 4993-E3, 30ml multiple dose vial, for lab purposes only, for drug dilutant use" written on them.

Some of the sayings flashing on the screen were "plant a good seed and you will joyfully gather fruit" and "God loves you as He loved Jacob".

She said the exact amount of time as 3 years, 2 months and 28 days. I can see why she had to take the chance, as Tom already knew her plot to kill Ben she wouldn't have been safe even if he had died. What poor Juliet did not know was that she may not even be able get off the island. Jack asked Tom why Ben hadn't been removed from the island to get medical attention. Tom almost had the chance to explain that since the "sky went purple" they hadn't had any access to anything outside the island. I seem to recall Juliet telling Jack the same thing earlier in the season, but she must not have realized it meant getting off the island was possibly impossible.

Since Karl was so drugged up, Sawyer gave him a stoner nickname. Sadly, Alex had to stay behind, so her father (Ben) would allow Karl to live. It's possible that Juliet made that up, as Ben didn't know Alex was even involved at that point. Is Alex really Ben's daughter, or is she just a trophy he stole from Danielle sixteen years ago?
