It was easy to tell what the subject was he discussed since he mentioned the term "supply and demand". He mentioned this briefly since he wanted to discuss how diverse the American economy was. According to Mr. Van Driessen, capitalism was just one form of making money around the world.

The bell rang so the duo went up to Mr. Van Driessen to discuss making money. Mr. Van Driessen brought up how he once before informed the boys that they had to work in order to acquire money. He wondered if they remembered that discussion so Beavis and Butt-head pondered for a minute but were unable to recall that moment.

Mr. Van Driessen told the boys that he would take them to his home so they could make some money by cleaning up his house. They entered and were struck by how weird he decorated his home. One of the items that was shown in the home was a lava lamp while other things that were there was a poster about seeking relief.

Butt-head thought that Mr. Van Driessen had asked them to clean the music tapes that he had in his home. The duo grabbed them and proceeded over to the sink in order to wash them off. Beavis thought of a way to dry them off so he started to put tapes inside the toaster. This ended up setting off the smoke alarm.
