Harris, a native of Duluth, Minnesota, landed the guest starring part of Chad Hockney for this episode of "Castle". Harris held down the role of Chad for just this episode of the series. The episode commenced with a woman screaming in pain as she ran away from a man who frightened her. The male caught up with her but then a mysterious gentleman appeared to tell him to leave the woman alone. The male ended up pulling out a gun but the killer took out his sword and cut him up.

She told him and then appeared in a bizarre outfit so Richard told her it reminded him about the time she made him an E.T. costume for Halloween. Alexis then appeared and mentioned her next step in preparing for college.

The team had been notified about a dead body so they went to the location to investigate. At the scene, they identified his name as being Tyler Faris and Javier brought up how he had just completed a year long prison term at Sing Sing. Shortly after this, the team questioned the woman who ran from Tyler just before he was killed.

The team did further research on Tyler Faris and found out that he once worked at a meat related business in New Jersey. The team decided to interview the owner, Tony, to see what they could figure out. Tony informed him that Tyler was a horrible worker so he terminated his employment.

The team eventually was able to interview the superhero who was seen on a camera the night of Tyler's murder. When they spoke to him, the guy informed the team that the name he went by while donning a superhero costume was Lone Vengeance. The team realized that, prior to being a suspect in Tyler's murder, he had not had a criminal record.

Early on in the episode, Victoria was in her office when Kate arrived to discuss the case involving Tyler Faris's death. While in her office, Victoria stated that they should consult with Bellevue about the suspect who dressed in superhero attire. She claimed that anyone who did such was crazy and likely would have been institutionalized.

The team eventually questioned Tony Valtini, the owner of the meat business where Tyler worked, since they felt he had a motive to kill Tyler. They questioned Tony and revealed that they knew Lone Vengeance was harassing his people so therefore that provided him motive to frame Lone Vengeance for the murder.

They also revealed that they found a button at the crime scene that matched to a superhero suit he had tailor made. Tony confessed to killing Tyler and then asked for a lawyer.
