Armstrong, born on July 7th, 1950 in Sonora, California guest starred as the minister who married Peter and Amanda in this episode. This was the only episode of the series in which Armstrong guest starred as a minister. He had previously starred in an earlier episode of season four as a boat captain. Armstrong had had guest starring stints on the TV shows, "Moesha", "NYPD Blue" and "The District."

Peter was arrested for Bobby Parezi's murder and it was revealed that Amanda Woodward would likely be called to testify against him. Amanda decided to prevent this by marrying Peter, as then she would not be allowed to testify against him. Amanda got a minister down to the jail and he married Peter and Amanda.

Jane told Richard that she noticed the way he was looking at her and it was clear he wanted her again so she started to kiss him and Jake witnessed it. He told Jane he wanted to talk to her so Jane told him they were finished. Jake said he was okay with that but he wanted Jane to tell him she was not interested in Richard but Jane said she always thought of Richard, which disgusted Jake. For this entire time, Richard did not know that Jane was leading him on since she had planned to kill him.

Kimberly was admitted to the hospital after she fell during the first hour of the episode. It was in one scene midway through the second hour where Kimberly opened her eyes and Michael was right at her bedside. Michael asked her how she felt so Kimberly said she hurt. Michael told her he loved her.

At Shooters, it started to get crowded so Allison went to see Jake in his office to ask him to help her out since the place was starting to get packed. Sydney was asleep and dreamed about how she and Jane were in a prison cell together awaiting execution. The guards came to drag Sydney and Jane to the gas chamber and Sydney pleaded the entire time how Jane made her kill Richard. Sydney then screamed in the dream and that was when she awoke. Sydney mentioned to Jane how she dreamed about them being dead sisters walking.

There was one scene in the second hour of the episode where Matt spoke with his friend named Greg and he mentioned how Greg gave him some pills the previous night, which made him feel well. Matt said he would like to take some more to help alleviate the pain he still had from his bout with spinal meningitis so Greg said he knew they would come in handy for him.

He gave Matt the keys to the medicine cabinet so Matt could go get some pills and take them. Matt eventually developed an addiction to the pills.
