Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Where does Luke bring Robert Peach's body after killing him?

Answer: To Louise's house

Alice passes through the door at the top of the staircase in Medallion Park to find a field of goldenrod and a large house in the distance. She doesn't notice the manifestation of her schizophrenia watching, low in the field nearby.
In Garrett, Luke drives to Louise's house after having killed Robert Peach in his vehicle. When Louise inspects the car, she tells Luke that bringing him over dead isn't what she meant when she offered her place. She helps him clean out the back of his cruiser anyways.
2. What, according to Peach, is on the other side of the door, in the field?

Answer: The Summer Home

Alice continues to race towards the house in the field but finds that no matter how much she runs, she doesn't seem to be able to reach it. She throws a fit before Joseph Peach, sitting nearby under a parasol, simply tells her to stop running around like a rabbit and she'll get to the summer home. That said, it's harder than she thinks.

As he pulls some of his crops from the soil next to him, Alice notices that he's not growing vegetables; it appears he's unearthing a cluster of human hands. At the summer house, Zoe sits for a meal with the Peach Family. Edie tries to lighten the mood, but Zoe claims that she isn't hungry.

The rest of the family asks after Robert, but he hasn't been back from 'downstairs' since the day before.
3. Louise claims that her house contains which of the following, used many years ago?

Answer: Bootlegger tunnels

The truth is that Robert is in Louise's office, dead...at least for a bit. Robert awakens while they're out cleaning the car and they head inside to find the body missing. They reason he couldn't have gone far in his...condition...but they realize soon that he likely escaped using the old bootlegger tunnels throughout the building.

They find him hiding in another room though, and Luke uses a shovel, plunging it into Robert's chest, to subdue him. At lunch, Edie tells Zoe that the family adores Robert.

He plucked her from her secretarial job in Georgia and asked her to follow him out the door so that he could make her a 'Georgia Peach'. She claims that she would follow him anywhere before their meal is brought out. The meal is, of course, meat.
4. As per the riddle given to Alice in the field: I'm often shut but I'm not a mouth. Sometimes I break but I am not a heart. Sometimes I'm in pain but I do not feel it. When I am stained I am not unclean. What am I?

Answer: A Window

Alice continues to trudge onward through the fields and, inevitably, she comes across a man harvesting hands from the ground. He welcomes her and speaks of a 'secret companion' she seems to have brought with her, but she doesn't understand what he means.

He gives her a riddle: 'I'm often shut but I'm not a mouth. Sometimes I break but I am not a heart. Sometimes I'm in pain but I do not feel it. When I am stained I am not unclean. What am I?' He gives her the answer immediately after: a window. Alice asks the man how to get closer to the house and he gives her another riddle: 'I am framed but not guilty. I have locks but no hair. I'm only closed when I'm open. And my jam will not spread on any toast.' She leaves without answering.
5. How long ago did the first sign of a mental disorder begin to appear in Zoe?

Answer: A few years

As Alice walks through the field she periodically thinks back to a few years earlier, recalling the days when Zoe first started to exhibit signs of paranoia and schizophrenia. One day, Zoe called the police on their neighbour and what followed was an emotional breakdown in the streets where she couldn't even recognize her own sister.

She doesn't seem to get any closer to the house though. Eventually, Alice comes across another person in the field, and it turns out to be Izzy, coated in something white. Izzy spies Alice's manifestation behind her and runs, but Alice doesn't see it yet, so what follow is a chase.
6. How do Louise and Luke ultimately put an end to Robert?

Answer: They remove his head

Louise and Luke commit to finishing off Robert once and for all, and using power tools, Louise gruesomely remove Peach's head. When all is said and done, they sit down and discuss their next steps. Luke tries to convince Louise that they can trust his father, but she isn't quite sure. Luke is sure of his choice though, and he believes that his father will choose them over the Peach family. With Robert's head in a bowling ball bag, he departs. At the summer house, Zoe, having not indulged in lunch, is urged to eat her dessert-- kidney parfait and ear wafer.

She can't though, and Edie takes hers to eat for herself. Can't let it go to waste.
7. Alice is able to solve one of the farmer's riddles. What is the answer she seeks?

Answer: A door

Luke brings Robert's head home to his father, getting there to find his dad making a microwave dinner. When Luke opens the bowling bag, his father looks inside and finds Robert's head staring back at him. He asks where the rest of the body is, and when they go out to the cruiser they throw the bag in with the rest of the corpse. Luke has to ask his father-- what side is he on? 'I'm made of wood but I'm not a table. I have a handle but I'm not a brush. I do not live within a house nor do I live without. What am I?' This time when Alice comes across the farmer in the field, she's able to answer his riddle.

It's 'a door'. When she realizes this, she turns around and finds three doors.
8. Luke's father has been aware that Joseph Peach was doing horrible things in Butcher's Block.

Answer: True

Alice goes to the first door on her left and opens it to find Medallion Park on the other side. Below are the marble stairs. It's nighttime there, though it wasn't when she left and it certainly isn't in the field. She closes the door again and looks to the second door instead.

This door, when she opens it, leads out into an endless void. The third and final door is the one on the right, and when she opens it she looks into a courtyard with a staircase leading up flanked by two large statues of flies.

This is the door she walks through. Luke's father drives his son through town and tells the truth. He met Joseph Peach many years ago and admits he took Peach's offer to lead the force. All he needed to do was look the other way in Butcher's Block, even if people were going missing.
9. Who ultimately kills the manifestation stalking Alice?

Answer: Joseph Peach

When Alice steps through the third door she approaches the stairs to the summer house and climbs them, entering the elaborate mezzanine of the Peach Family home. When she gets to the top of the stairs though, the manifestation from her mind catches up to her and stalks her until she reaches an unlocked door.

She emerges in a decadent room and finds herself trapped and cornered as the creature comes in and reaches for her brain, giving her intense visions of her memories and a stark, mysterious, red door.

But the creature is killed when Joesph Peach stabs it from behind. Zoe, meanwhile, realizes that she can't fight her urges for long. She plays around with her knife until Edie tosses her a severed finger. She refuses the meat though, instead opting to cut into herself at the dinner table and peel away at her own flesh for a meal.

The Peach Family watches on in horror.
10. In the end, Joseph Peach leads a toast to which of these?

Answer: The family

Luke and his father end up in a hydro field while Louise watches from her car. There, Luke digs a grave and buries Peach's body and head. Luke's father approaches from behind and, screaming, he slits his son's throat, leaving him to die in the pit he dug. Louise waits until the police chief leaves to check on Luke and finds him choking on his own blood.
Joesph Peach tells Alice that he stabbed her disease, but it will grow back. It needs to be extracted instead, and he can do it for her. She just needs to say so. She agrees-- they should cut off its head.
After lunch, Edie compliments Zoe on her decision to eat her own flesh before Joseph brings Alice into the room for a toast. Zoe urges her not to join, but Alice agrees and takes a drink. For the family, of course.
