Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What type of creature is 'Father Time'?

Answer: Centipede

In the night, a man is led down the staircase in the woods and through Medallion Park.

Alice tries getting a hold of Zoe, only being able to reach her voicemail. She remembers about a year ago when she woke up to find her sister playing with their unorthodox pet-- a centipede named 'Father Time'. While Zoe recaptured the loose bug, the sisters heard the sound of breaking glass coming from their mother in another room. Alice is broken from her memory by the sound of her phone ringing. It's not Zoe though-- it's a collections agency. She tells the person on the other line that Alice is dead.
2. Louise says that the Peach Family started disappearing in 1952. What happened to their house?

Answer: It was burned down

Louise, curious about events in Rachel's recent days, asks her to go for a drive so that they can investigate exactly what the girls saw earlier. They retrace their steps, returning to Izzy's house, but it's locked. Rachel regrets letting Zoe head out.

While Louise wonders if she went back to meet with their mother, Rachel says she wouldn't as she hadn't seen their mother since they locked her away. Rachel and Louise head into the park to find the spot where Joseph Peach's house once stood, right in front of a derelict playground. Louise says that the Peach Family disappeared in 1952.

When workers came by and broke down the door, no one was inside. People blamed a cult; the Peach daughters were hanged in Butcher's Block; immigrant workers started disappearing.

Others burned the house to the ground.
3. Rachel is awakened in the woods by Peach and he asks her questions about which of these?

Answer: Her belief in God

Rachel is distracted by movement in the bushes and chases down the figure there, believing it to be Izzy. This leads her deeper into the park where she watches a man walking alone through the trees. She continues to follow, keeping her distance until she finds the staircase leading up in the center of a clearing.

She approaches it, but it has a horrible effect on her; a searing pain shoots through her skull and she falls unconscious as the stairs vanish from reality. She's eventually awakened by Joseph Peach who, weirdly, asks her a number of questions about her beliefs in God.

She moves to leave, and as she does, Peach tells her that she doesn't need to worry about Zoe-- she'll be fine.
4. After searching for Zoe, Rachel inevitably finds her, but where?

Answer: Back at Louise's

The police arrive at Medallion Park to hear Rachel's concerns about the staircase and the figures she saw earlier, but they don't take her seriously. In fact, they end up arguing with Louise about her invasive journalism and their ranks on the force. Elsewhere, a creature from the staircase crushes bones into a paste, spreading them on Izzy's face in the center of a demonic circle. When Rachel and Louise return home, they hear sounds deeper inside the building and, investigating, it turns out to be Zoe. Dressed in fine clothes and done up in make-up, she assures her sister that everything will be fine because she's been cured.
5. Diane is attacked by a man with which of these?

Answer: A taser

In an abandoned lot, Diane, having found a pair of scissors, cuts twine from around a discarded doll before she spots a figure standing behind her in the reflection of a broken mirror. She rushes out of the lot but finds that the well-dressed man there is following her with an old-fashioned taser.

She makes it to a police car, but the man zaps her anyways, with the police in full view. One of the officers, Luke Vanczyk, cuffs the man and demands his name, only receiving the name 'Peach' and being told that he'll be a special project. Diane flees while she can and the man is brought to jail.
6. Zoe tells Rachel that she was told she would be cured. Who or what told her this?

Answer: Thousands of flies

At Louise's, Rachel and Zoe argue over Zoe's alleged curing; Rachel says that no one has just immediately cured schizophrenia before and claims that this is just a symptom of her illness. Rachel asks about Zoe's new clothes as well, and Zoe tells the truth.

She met a man and he talked to her about something she can't quite remember. She was standing in a field and there were thousands of flies, and the flies came together and said that he could fix her. And he did. Rachel suggests they leave, but Zoe says she can't because she feels better.

Besides, she says, if Rachel gets sick, she can be there for her instead. Later, alone, Zoe finds herself affected by the process that cured her. She remembers being told that the side effects would change her.
7. What nickname did Peach give to Luke?

Answer: Mouse

In jail, the man known as Peach cracks his fingers as the other man in the cell with him asks him to stop. This escalates and Peach makes it clear that this will become a fight. When Luke returns to the holding cells, he finds that Peach has overpowered the man in the cell, removed his own clothes, and pierced into the man's side to feed on the organs within him. As a clean-up crew comes in, Luke sees the image of a mouse drawn in the blood on the floor. This Peach had nicknamed him 'Mouse' shortly before.
8. Luke follows Peach as he is removed from the precinct. Where is he taken?

Answer: To another jail

That night, after the murder, Peach is removed from the precinct and sent to another jail elsewhere. Luke decides to follow. To his surprise, instead of being sent to another cell, the man is removed from his handcuffs outside Medallion Park and set free. Luke decides to follow him out to the playground, nearly getting caught in the process, and he watches as Peach is received by his father and they ascend the stairs.

Back at Louise's, Zoe has a horrifying vision. Unable to quench the urges within her, she struggles with the image of eating Louise's pet cat. No one in the house hears as someone enters in the night
9. Who accompanies Alice to dinner with the Peach Family?

Answer: Louise

Louise tells Alice of the local boogeyman-- The Butcher-- of whom there are murals all over the town of Garrett. They say it was Peach. Now, when people disappear, they say that the Butcher took them. Alice refuses to believe that the Butcher took her sister, especially since she came back.

When the two of them hear a noise in the kitchen, they investigate only to find the front door open and a broken vase in the main hall. A note seems to have been left by a lit candle, written for Alice and Zoe both.

It invites them to dinner and spirits at the playground in the park. It's from the Peach Family. Alice attends, leaving her sister at home but bringing Louise. Joseph Peach sits them both down anyways, encouraging them to enjoy the feast laid out for them.

The park seems to transform into a luxurious dining hall before their very eyes.
10. What, according to Joseph Peach, is the beast in Alice's brain?

Answer: Schizophrenia

Alice quickly asks for answers and Joseph says that he performed a procedure on Zoe. But that's not the point of the dinner; they're there to celebrate the turn of summer. Alice and Louise worry that the other diners are, in fact, the actual Peaches, but as food is served, and Alice insists on knowing more, the girl blinks to find herself in another dining room, this time well-lit, and she's paralyzed. Peach shows her, though-- no pain, minimal blood. Using an archaic device, he drills into Alice's skull and hands her a mirror, allowing her to see her brain. Peach says that he can get to her deepest trauma-- specifically her mother-- and remove the horrifying memory of the attack her mother made on her.

The beast in her brain-- 'Father Time'; schizophrenia-- can be removed. When Alice is pulled from the dream, she and Louise find themselves sitting in the playground in front of a table of rotten meat. Izzy's mother appears to be at least a part of the contents on the table.
