The alien ambassadors live and work out of green sector. This sector is limited to restricted access to protect the ambassadors.

Warmaster Na'Kal is the commander of the Narn heavy cruiser G'Tok. Ko'Dath was G'Kar's first aid, who was killed in an airlock accident shortly after her arrival on Babylon 5. Ko'Dath was replaced by Na'Toth until she was captured by the Centauri during the war. Lennier was Delenn's aid before he joined the Rangers. Vir was Londo's aid and succeeded him as ambassador once Londo became Emperor.

Londo and Vir have very different views regarding the war with the Narns. In an act of compassion, Londo calls in a favor from Delenn to send Vir to Minbar to reopen the Centauri diplomatic offices. Vir later uses his position to rescue Narns from execution, forcing Londo to recall him back to Babylon 5.

The Brakiri ambassador purchased the section for the Day of the Dead. The Day of the Dead is celebrated every 200 years when a comet nears the Brakiri homeworld. For one night, those on Brakiri soil (including the purchased portion of the station) are visited by the dead. Londo, Garibaldi, Lennier and Lochley are all visited by past associates.

In the episode "Acts of Sacrifice", Ivanova is placed in charge of visiting Lumati diplomats. Her assignment is to do anything to form an alliance with the Lumati. Finally succeeding, Ivanova and the Lumati delegate, Correlimurzon, meet to conclude the ideal. Correlimurzon explains that his race formally concludes all transactions with sex.

Vasharn is the former Markab ambassador, not Brakiri. Kalika spoke for the League during the Deathwalker incident and on other occassions. She'lah is mentioned in the episode "Interludes and Examinations".

When the Centauri finally defeated the Narns and captured their homeworld, all memembers of the former Narn government, the Kha'Ri, were removed from their positions and were to be placed under arrest. Ambassador G'Kar, a member of the fallen government, requested assylum on Babylon 5, but lost his position on the council.

Ambassador Kosh was killed by the Shadows in "Interludes and Examinations". The Gaim ambassador was killed by a human while planning to assassinate Sheridan on his innauguration as President in "No Compromises". The Markabs were all killed by the Drafa Plague, including the ones on the station.

The Lumati allied themselves with the Earth Alliance, but did not join the League. The Dilgar were responsible for many deaths among the League Worlds during the Dilgar War. The Vindrizzi were sentient symbiotic creatures whose goal was the collection and preservation of knowledge of the universe.

After the Narn were defeated, the Centauri expanded their war to their other neighboring races. In the episode, "The Fall of Night", the Drazi and Pak'ma'ra ambassadors meet with Sheridan to discuss the Centauri's incursions into their territory.

The Interstellar Alliance was formed at the end of the year 2261. It consists of the members of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds, the Centauri, Minbari, Narn, and later the Earth Alliance. After being forced to resign from Earthforce, Sheridan was named the first President of the Interstellar Alliance.

Here are some of the other official names: Minbari Federation, Earth Alliance, Narn Regime, Vorlon Empire, Vree Conglomerate, and the Gaim Intelligence.

Mr. Morden was sent by the Shadows to Babylon 5 to seek out alliances with other races. Morden found Londo the most suitable for the Shadows goals and for the next several years assisted the Centauri government in their wars against the other races. The Earth Alliance, under President Clark, also allied themselves with the Shadows.

G'Kar contacted a dust dealer in an attempt to use the psi-enhancing drug to create Narn telepaths. He tested the drug on himself and assaulted Londo while under the influence of the dust. He was sentenced to no less than 60 days in prison. While in the brig, he annoyed the other prisoners with his singing resulting in an early release.

After the Earth-Minbari War, the Earth Alliance created the Babylon Project to prevent such a mistake from happening again by promoting an environment where "humans and aliens could work out their differences peacefully". The Minbari joined them in this venture with Delenn keeping a watchful eye on Sinclair and the station.

The Centauri and other races contribute to the station by purchasing jumpgate rights and conducting trade.

After Babylon 5 breaks away from Earth, Sheridan disbands Nightwatch, the terror unit of President Clark's regime. Although most of the members were captured and shipped of station, some remained hidden. Delenn was held hostage by the remnant and would be released if the Minbari warships protecting Babylon 5 were sent away.

Sheridan saves the day, although Delenn was injured in the rescue.

Londo suffers a heart attack brought on by the stress that he has been under from his responsibilities and guilt over his past actions. He recovers from the surgery and the coma once his subconcious has come to terms with his actions and he resolves to apologize to G'Kar.

Green. Purple. Ivanova is given the task of negotiating the end to a Drazi conflict on the station. The conflict, she learns, is the Drazi method of selecting a new government. In her solution, she takes over the position of Green Drazi Leader of Babylon 5 and changes all the Green Drazi into Purple Drazi.

The conflict ends as the Drazi will not attack Ivanova, although Ivanova is still Green Leader as seen in "Atonement".

Londo does the opening narration, which I think is appropriate since he was there through most of the events, including the pre-history. But more importantly he was the most involved in the attempts to destabilize the peace that Babylon 5 tries to create.
