1. Which legal comedy/drama had quirky characters with nicknames such as 'Fish' and 'Biscuit'?

Answer: Ally McBeal

Created by David E Kelley, Calista Flockhart starred in the role of the title character. The show ran for five seasons, first airing in 1997. While Ally's character was certainly quite quirky (and had regular and amusing daydreams that played out in front of the camera), the characters around her were even quirkier.
2. Which show, first airing in 2006, dealt with a man married to three different women in Utah?

Answer: Big Love

"Big Love" ran for five seasons. It starred Bill Paxton as the man leading a very complicated life juggling three families that were living in suburbia in three different (but conjoined) households.
3. "Cold Feet" was a comedy-drama TV series produced in Australia about Australian families.

Answer: False

"Cold Feet" was a British production with a largely British cast. Starring James Nesbitt and Helen Baxendale, it followed three couples through various challenges in their lives.
4. Three of these shows were part of the "Degrassi" series; which one was NOT?

Answer: Degrassi: The College Years

The first show in the series was titled "The Kids of Degrassi Street", and first aired as after-school specials in the late 1970s and early 1980s. "Degrassi Junior High" followed (1987-89), followed by "Degrassi High" (1989-91). "Degrassi: The Next Generation" started in 2001.
5. Kyle Chandler starred as a man named Gary who received a newspaper every morning with the next day's headlines on it. What was the name of this cult show that ran for four seasons?

6. Which of the following TV shows aired first (in the US)?

8. A "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" TV series aired in 1981.

Answer: True

Given the popularity of the books and radio series, BBC 2 released a short (six episode) series in early 1981. While producers reportedly found it very challenging to adapt to the small screen, it was ultimately successful, winning a Royal Television Society Award for Best Original Programme that year.
9. Which teen sitcom revolved around a girl and the show she hosted on the internet?

Answer: iCarly

"iCarly" starred Miranda Cosgrove, and first aired in September 2007. Producer Dan Schnieder reportedly considered a few names (including "iJosie") before settling on the final title.
