Shown on the episode, "Buddy's Booby Trap," Mike spent $150 for a mechanism that was supposed to shoot an intruder when mounted on a door. Frank bet him $100 that the device would not turn out to be a booby trap, and he was right! It was a device that was used to check brakes on automobiles, and was valued at $75.

The episode ends with Frank putting his newly won $100 bill in a frame, and hanging it in the van, so that he could remind Mike of a time when he was wrong.

Frank bought the car from a man named Galen who lived in Maryland for $5500. He said he loved the car's lines. Although Mike disagreed, it wasn't until an appraiser valued the car at $3-5,000 that Frank admitted that he had made a mistake. The episode ends with Frank calling a variety of hot rod shops to try to sell the car.
