Due to a threat that affects the citizens of New York City, the mayor is telling Frank that he wants to close the Lincoln Tunnel on Thanksgiving. Of course, Frank disagrees with the mayor and explains why. Then, Abigail Baker tells Frank that Linda called about an urgent family matter. Once Frank finds out which hospital and who was rushed to the hospital, he excuses himself.

At first it is assumed that Ayla, the dead woman, killed herself but it is later determined that her boyfriend had a fight with her. The boyfriend, Kurt, is arrested for manslaughter because he went to talk to Ayla to tell her that he was dating his sister. Kurt said that it was an accident.

He pushed Ayla after Ayla got physical with him. Kurt's parents were arrested on obstruction of justice because they lied about being with Kurt at the time of Ayla's death. The arrest took place on Thanksgiving with Danny and Jackie being the detectives assigned to the case.

Jamie's partner, Tony Renuzelli owes several thousand dollars to his bookie. Jamie was talking to his dad about how to help the guy out. Frank shoots Jamie's first idea down, which is for Jamie to talk to the bookie. Frank points out that Jamie may encounter the bookie if he goes undercover. Jamie asks if he can borrow the money from Frank and makes sure he gets paid back. Tony goes to the hospital to meet with Frank who explains to Tony that he is concerned about Jamie who had gambling debts. Frank explains he lent Jamie the money and wouldn't be able to help him out again.

It is important to Frank that Tony understands the situation. Tony is obviously relieved to have the money to pay his bookie.

Answer: Her male friend is being investigated by the NYPD.

Jacob, the guy Erin is seeing, is being investigated for stealing paintings from museums that were stolen from the Jewish people by the Nazis. While Erin likes Jacob, this is an ethical dilemma. Eventually, they break up.

Jacob gives Erin a pencil drawing of Erin and her mother. At lunch with Jacob, Jacob asks Erin what most prized possession is. It is a locket with a picture of Erin on one side and her mother on the other. Jacob explains that if she lost the locket or if it was stolen that Erin wouldn't care how he got it back. Jacob says it is the same way with the pictures he recovers that the Jewish people had taken from them.

Frank spends the night in Henry's hospital room. In the morning, Henry says he is ready to leave. Frank tells Henry that he is not being discharged. Henry, of course, argues and Frank tells him he is staying put.

Mayor Poole brings cornbread and sausage stuffing. At the beginning of the episode, Frank and the mayor are serving Thanksgiving dinner to people in a soup kitchen. They discuss their favorite kind of stuffing. While at the hospital, the mayor talks business and asks Frank if he wants to delegate decisions to someone else about the threats. Frank declines and the mayor is happy about the decision.

After the family each tells Henry that they are happy that he is with them on Thanksgiving, Henry says he wants to say grace. One nice touch is that he mentions Linda by name. Linda got Henry to the hospital quickly.

Henry is not released from the hospital on Thanksgiving day. He sends Frank home and Frank returns to take Henry to cafeteria to get a turkey sandwich from the vending machine. The family surprises Henry with Thanksgiving dinner at the hospital. Henry recovered quickly from his angioplasty.
