Steven found out that Anthony Ward was in the hospital. As Malcolm White had been bullying Anthony, Steven went after Malcolm at school. Malcolm started to take a swing at Steven, so Steven slammed Malcolm into the lockers a few times.

At the end of the episode, Anthony was mad at Steven because Anthony now believed Malcolm thought Anthony told on him. Steven ended up showing Anthony a move that could work on anyone to use to protect himself with.

In one of the earlier scenes in this episode, Steven and Lauren were in an empty hallway when they heard sounds coming from a locker. Steven opened the locker and Anthony fell out, dressed only in a diaper.

Harvey said that Dana's dress was obscene. Steven told Dana that she needed to wear a bra from now on. Lauren asked Steven how he would enforce that rule - and if the flat-chested girls also had to wear one. Steven replied that he didn't know - all he knew was it was now school policy that Dana Poole wear a bra.

Marla left a note on her classroom blackboard saying she was going off to kill herself. Harry was told to go take over the 'dungeon' class (really, kids who were the slower learners and who mis-behaved a lot). Harry said he'd subbed in that class and they didn't listen to him.

After being forced to take over Marla's class, he brought in a gun loaded with blanks (but didn't tell the students the gun was only loaded with blanks). When the students got quiet because they saw he had a gun, Harry started to talk to them about how they respected the gun, but not other things.

He then shot the wall three times while the students fell to the ground and hid under their desks.

Steven told Harry that he gave Scott the green light to fire Harry after the gun incident.

Harvey had been given a talking to by Lauren about how erratic his behaviour had been. (She disapproved of him making the kids sing the "Star Spangled Banner" at the beginning of each class and how he referred to James Madison as a midget.)

At the end of the episode, Steven was told he would be having a meeting with the Superintendent, but was never told he would be fired.

Steven met with Marla in his office and told her she would be taking some time off. He also said that they'd already discussed several times that Marla needed to be on her meds. Marla responded that when she was on her meds, she couldn't feel anything and what use was a teacher who couldn't feel?

Harry had acted inappropriately with Dana, who was a student. When Dana found out Harry was the other teacher failing Jason (two Fs and he wasn't allowed to play in the football game), she blackmailed Harry into changing Jason's Geography grade.
