Harvey heard the teachers talking in the teachers' lounge and decided to confront Bobby. Harvey told Bobby that his great-nephew was gay, but they still felt he was part of the family. Harvey believed this would induce Bobby to talk to Harvey about how he was feeling.

Harvey also called the entire team into his classroom for a team meeting. He mentioned that Jackie Robinson hadn't originally been accepted as a baseball player, but ended up paving the way for blacks in baseball. Harvey then asked the team to accept their gay teammate in the shower.

Lauren's class ended up asking about Native Americans and cannibalism, so the class went off topic and discussed the matter. (The superintendent, Marsha, happened to be in the classroom during a discussion.)

Scott also asked Steven not to let out about Harry having kissed Dana Poole as Scott believed it would make Steven look even worse.

When Marsha mentioned a teacher who was being medicated, Marla stood up for herself and said that she had had it with parents who didn't respect the teachers, which brought their disrespect to the children. The other teachers eventually stood up and said that if Steven was fired, they would quit.

Ultimately, no action was taken against Steven.
