Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Who convinced Kai to actively pursue politics?

Answer: Bebe Babbitt

On the night of October 19, 2016, during the final Presidential debate, Kai watched as Winter and her friends snarkily commented over Clinton and Trump's last talking points, eagerly awaiting the expected result of the first female President of the United States. Kai, however, believed that Clinton would receive no traction, and his argument with one of Winter's friends ended with him striking her. Two weeks later, charges were pressed against Kai and he was told to seek anger management which inadvertently led him to the office of Bebe Babbitt.

She would go on to tell him that he was more special than the others, and as she was also a supporter of Donald Trump, she believed he should go into politics and break down the dam of female rage.

She had him take to his knees and repeat the mantra of Valerie Solanas' 'S.C.U.M. Manifesto' before her. From then on, he would use his skills, passion, and vision to break the dam to pieces. The truth, she said, would save them all, and he would be remembered for bringing it.
2. According to Kai, what happened to Ivy?

Answer: She went to cooking school in Paris

Kai speaks in front of a crowd in front of city hall while protestors speak out against his horrible policies. The rally ends up resulting in violent protest as Kai chants his message from the microphone. Soon, the protestors are infringing on his rally to the point where one person sprays him in the face with a can of mace after pulling the plug on his speaker system. That night, afraid of what the federal government might do to bring him down, Kai told Winter and Ally to start scrubbing down the ice cream truck used in the early killings to hide evidence. That's when Winter asked Ally for the truth, since Ivy never would have left without saying goodbye.
3. Where, according to Kai, did Charlie Manson's followers commit their murders?

Answer: Los Angeles

Kai pops pills as he watches the news reports about his rally. The state senator goes on record saying that Kai is an extremist, and his followers angrily back him up. To motivate the men, he decides to tell him the best story yet, setting it on Cielo Drive and recounting the actions of Charles Manson who, along with his followers, killed everyone in and around one of the houses there on one Los Angeles night. Susan Atkins, Patricia Krenwinkel, Linda Kasabian, and Charles 'Tex' Watson proceeded to enter the household of director Roman Polanski and violently murder everyone inside.
4. According to Kai, was Manson successful in bringing Helter Skelter to fruition?

Answer: No

After closing out his story, Kai tells his men that Charles Manson's followers enacted the start of his master plan, Helter Skelter, which should have resulted in a violent race war brought about by false accusations to the crimes committed on Cielo Drive.

It never happened though, Kai claims, because he was betrayed by someone. They have to follow Manson's playbook, Kai says, because they need to shift the cultural expectation and do something so violent it shocks them into voting him into power. And that's why Kai sends Gary and some of his men to Planned Parenthood.
5. Who is sacrificed and left in front of Planned Parenthood as a message?

Answer: Gary

Kai's plan, as it seems, is to send Gary and others to Planned Parenthood to break in and find a master waiting list of women seeking late-term abortions, presumably for political reasons, so that they can kill them and send a message. When Gary breaks into the back door though, Kai's men seal it behind him and he's sent in alone.

It doesn't click that he's set up to be the victim until the clowns emerge from the rooms behind him. Kai takes off his mask and says what he needs Gary for now is more vital than any other plan. Gary accepts his fate after Kai tells him his purpose.

He's found, massacred and posed in front of the building the next morning.
6. Kai places the blame for the death at Planned Parenthood on a leftist terrorist group known by what name?

Answer: Woke Warriors

Beverly is the one who reports on the breaking news at Planned Parenthood, having been told to do her job to avoid arousing suspicion. At the scene, she interviews none other than Kai who blames the attack on his political opponent, the current senator, and the left-wing terrorists called the 'Woke Warriors' that he allegedly has committing these types of crimes in the name of extreme pro-choice advocacy.

When the report ends, Kai chastises Beverly for her lacklustre attitude on-camera and insists that she do her job properly though it's clear she's severely shaken by recent events.
7. Winter offers Beverly a ticket to which destination?

Answer: Montana

At the Butchery on Main, Winter worries about Beverly and serves her some calming tea. Winter apologizes to her for framing her for Detective Samuels' murder and says she wants to help before sliding an Amtrak ticket to Montana across the table; she says no one will find her there. Winter says she'll stay and distract Kai as long as she can to keep him off her trail, but Beverly believes that Winter is testing her. Beverly tells her that she wouldn't dream of leaving her leader behind as she is still his devout follower.
8. Whose 'ghost' advises Kai to find the dissenter amongst his followers and purge them from it?

Answer: Charles Manson

In his basement, Kai fears the low buzz of surveillance, believing the feds are listening to his words and actions. He rushes to his parents' room to escape the noise and think, but he seems to have a startling break from reality as Vincent rises from the bed to give his brother a pep talk.

The talk seems to be heartfelt, even if it's in Kai's own head, but it's cut short when Vincent is stabbed from behind by the ghost of Charles Manson who, also imparting his wisdom, tells Kai to seek out the Judas of his followers and learn not to trust so much as that was also his own downfall. Soon there's a knocking at the bedroom door.

It's Ally, and she's found a surveillance bug.
9. Who kills Bebe Babbitt?

Answer: Ally

After Ally finds the bug, another knock is heard and it's Bebe Babbitt at the front door. Kai answers and lets her in, bringing her to the basement. She reams him out for not following her plan which, as she said, simply involved opening the floodgates for female rage, but it's clear that all he's done is break down the women of his operation, enraging everyone altogether and failing her and her leader, Valerie. Kai says he's past it all though, and it's time that he takes things further in his own direction. Bebe doesn't appreciate this though and pulls a gun on him, but before she can kill him, she's shot from behind by Ally. That night, Winter shaves off Kai's blue hair.

They talk as he puts on shaving cream and he hands her the straight razor. Soon, their conversation turns to why she wants to hurt him.
10. Does Winter confess to planting a surveillance bug in Kai's basement?

Answer: No

Winter tells Kai that he can't see her brother inside him anymore. She says that one day, when his followers get what they want, she'll still be his family, even though she's admittedly slipping away. She tells him that the only way she can be there for him when his ride is over is if she leaves now. He tells her that if she leaves, nothing could stop others from leaving with her, but she says she'd convince them to stay. Kai tells her that he's always loved her the most and he doesn't want to lose her. If her going away for a little while is the price he needs to pay, then so be it. He says he'll be in the White House one day, and he needs someone he knows he can trust by his side when that happens. He tells her she should go to Butte, Montana. He even got her a train ticket. His men take her away.
Later, he asks her why, struggling to talk to her with his delusions speaking back to him. She asks him to share in a pinky promise to tell the truth, but he doesn't allow it, bringing out the surveillance bug. She confirms it's actually the battery to her FitBit and blames Ally for stoking Kai's paranoia. When Winter doesn't confess, he wraps his hands around her neck and weeps as he strangles her to death.
As it turns out, there is a mole though. One of Kai's men, wearing a wire, rushes out to his car. He doesn't notice Ally watching him until she makes herself known.
