Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. On what show did a female criminologist get to live out her dream of trying to catch Jack during an episode?

Answer: Fantasy Island

Given an opportunity to choose any fantasy, you choose to hunt Jack the Ripper. Next time, go for the beach.
2. Who played Inspector Abberline in the 1988 Miniseries 'Jack the Ripper'?

Answer: Michael Caine

Apparently, there weren't any 'Jaws' sequels being filmed at the time.
3. According to the 'Star Trek episode' 'Wolf in the Fold', Jack was an entity that possessed individuals to commit a series of murders covering centuries. What crew member was possessed in the episode?

Answer: Scotty

In the story, every round of killings totaled 5, just like the Whitechapel murders.
4. In the episode 'The Ripper', what did Carl Kolchak (The Night Stalker) figure out was the only way to kill Jack?

Answer: Electrocution

We never actually hear Jack speak during the episode, as Kolchak hunts him down and lures him into a trap involving Electric Wires and water.
5. In the 'Babylon 5' episode 'Comes the Inquisitor', Jack comes to the station to test Ambassador Delenn on behalf of the Vorlons. What was his name on earth?

Answer: Sebastian

The Vorlons saw that Jack was well suited for the mission of cruelly testing individuals who might lead the way against the Shadows, abducted him, and kept him alive for centuries doing penance for his crimes. Wayne Alexander did a great job of playing the character.

The calm enjoyment Jack seemed to get inflicting pain, and his final conversation with Captain Sheridan where he admits his identity and justifies the murders had an assurance about it that gave me chills.
