Lincoln Burrows was in debt to Crab Simmons for $90,000. The money he owed to Crab Simmons was used to set up Lincoln for the murder of Terrance Steadman. To Lincoln it looked like an easy deal, he murdered Terrance Steadman and the debt was cleared, but as always things are never that simple. The body in the parking garage was already dead. As Lincoln returned to his flat he discovered bloody clothes in the bath and the police burst in to arrest him. He exhausted all his appeals in three years and was sentenced to die on May 11th.

Lincoln was worth $300.000, all the other escapees were worth $100.000 each but Lincoln, being Terrance Steadman's murderer and a death row inmate was worth $300.000.

Lincoln was scheduled to be executed on May 11th. His original execution date was May 11th but it was brought forward after he punched Geary to protect his PI group. His execution was brought forward but was stopped just in the nick of time by a call from Judge Kessler claiming new evidence had come to light. Veronica checked all the information and even had Terrance Steadman's body exhumed.

The body in the ground was Terrance Steadman, or at least had the same teeth and Lincoln's execution date was rescheduled. Luckily before that, Michael managed to get the escape underway and Lincoln was soon on the run.

Answer: C.O Stolte

Lincoln had his head shaved by C.O Stolte, he was very pleasant to Lincoln during this time. He told Lincoln that he'd prefer to keep him out of cuffs and Lincoln agreed to behave and not kick up a fuss. Lincoln kept to his word and when Stolte was finished, he was allowed to go to see Michael at final visitation.

He left Michael in episode seven, 'Buried'. He had seen a report on the news stating that LJ was being released from Arizona state prison and Lincoln decided to go and rescue him. He left Michael and took Jeanette's car, a Chrysler Crossfire, and travelled across the country to find him.

As LJ was released from custody Lincoln was waiting. He had paid someone to start a fight with LJ and called the police as soon as the fight started. The two fighters were then taken to hospital where Lincoln followed and when LJ was left alone, went to get him.

It was a touching reunion for father and son but almost as soon as they had met, they had to run. As the police entered LJ's hospital room we heard a car roar away, as the two made their escape.

Lincoln got shot in his left leg as he was running from the courthouse after trying to rescue LJ. He called LJ saying he was Nick Savrinn and told him "On the third, look out for Otis Wright, until then keep your head up". LJ looked out for signs and whilst waiting at the elevators, he noticed the floor number was three and then saw the name of the elevators were Otis manufacturing. Suddenly the lift to the left of him opened and he realised he was meant to go for the right and stalled by untying and retying his shoelace.

When the right elevator opened he stood up and went through the door. Mahone realised what was happening and entered the elevator with LJ. After going up for a few moments the door in the ceiling opened and Lincoln and Michael were there to save LJ. Mahone wasn't going to give up LJ easily and a struggle occurred. Lincoln and Michael had to leave LJ and left the building. Mahone called for backup and as Michael and Lincoln were fleeing the scene, shots were fired. Lincoln was shot in his left leg and left a puddle of blood on the floor of the vehicle. Mahone noticed and said "they either come to us, or they die".

Lincoln Burrows is played by Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller plays Michael Scofield, Robert Knepper plays Theodore 'T-bag' Bagwell and Marshall Allman plays Lincoln's son LJ Burrows.

Lincoln was caught by Agent Mahone. Michael had left Lincoln as he'd heard that T-bag was in Panama city, and wanted to make sure that he was locked up again. Lincoln didn't know that Michael had gone and when he returned to the top deck of the boat, Michael was missing.

He checked the internet phone that Michael had left on the boat to find out where he had gone. He left the boat and set off in search of his brother. He had Michael in his sights when he felt the force of a fist. Mahone had found Lincoln and took him into an empty building.

The men fought for a few moments and it looked like Lincoln was overpowering him as Lincoln was pointing the gun at him. Lincoln was telling Mahone to put on the handcuffs and we later saw them talking. Thinking Lincoln had got the better of the unhinged agent, all seemed well.

But we cut to a flashback and we saw that while Lincoln was pointing the gun at Mahone, he span round and knocked the gun out of Lincoln's hand. Coming back from the flashback we saw that it wasn't Mahone handcuffed but Lincoln and he had no way of escape.

Lincoln had been exonerated of all charges due to the testimony of a surprise witness. Kellerman came forward at Sara's trial and told the court about how Lincoln was framed for Terrance Steadman's murder and how it was him who set him up. He also told the court about how he was given orders to kill Sara Tancredi.

He had all the documentation to prove that his claims were true. Sara was released immediately and Lincoln was exonerated of all charges. Kellerman however was detained and taken to jail.

He warned the court before he gave his testimony that the evidence he was about to give would get him killed. In the season finale Kellerman was being transported to prison and the van was stopped. Two men wearing balaclavas shot into the back of the van and left us asking the question, "Is Kellerman really dead"?

Jeanette's car was blue. Lincoln used it so he could travel to Arizona to rescue LJ after he had been released from prison.
