Phoebe can't go on a plane while she's pregnant. Rachel decides not to go because she has too much history with Ross. She tells him the reason she can't go is because of her job. Rachel later chooses to go to London to tell Ross that she stills loves him, despite Phoebe's protests not to go.

Everyone is shocked, including Ross himself, when Ross says Rachel's name instead of Emily's at the altar. Rachel takes it to mean that Ross is still in love with her. "TOW Ross's Wedding" ends with this cliffhanger.

After a long time, Ross is concerned because Emily hasn't come out of the bathroom. Rachel tells him that during her wedding, she went to the bathroom and crawled away out of the window. Unfortunately, Ross discovers that's also what Emily did.

Phoebe pretends that she is Ross' doctor and that he forgot to take his special medicine. She tells Mrs. Waltham that without the medicine, he might accidentally mix up people's names.

After the wedding, Monica and Chandler are at the reception and they arrange to meet in the wine cellar but it never ends up happening. Later when they are helping Ross search of Emily, they try to get together in the honeymoon suite since Ross and Emily won't be using it. On the way home, Monica and Chandler once again agree to meet in the plane's bathroom but he's sidetracked by Joey.

Chandler and Monica are trying to find some privacy in his hotel room when Joey knocks on the hotel door. They lie and pretend they are watching "My Giant".

While Rachel is waiting for her flight back to New York, she sees Ross hoping that Emily will reconcile with him and they'll go together on their honeymoon. Ross asks Rachel to go with him so she could enjoy the vacation while he mourns over his doomed marriage. But then Emily arrives and sees Ross about to board the plane with Rachel.
