Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the name of the female bunny that sometimes appears as the love interest for Bugs Bunny in "Looney Tunes"?

Answer: Lola

Lola does not appear in a lot of the cartoons but she does play several supporting roles behind Bugs. In other episodes, Bugs has also been distracted by a robot female bunny. He even sometimes dresses up as a female himself in order to distract whomever is chasing him in a given episode.

Babs is the name of the female bunny in the TV series "Tiny Toons" (much more recent) and is not ever in "Looney Tunes".

The other two are made up.
2. What is the "name" of the old woman who is the owner of Tweety and Sylvester (and sometimes a big dog)?

Answer: Granny

"Name" is in quotes because "Granny" is not really her name like Sylvester is the name for the cat. However, while we never hear of her actual first name, she is always referred to as "Granny".
3. What is the name of the huge abominable, but relatively friendly, snowman that often accidentally squeezes Bugs or Daffy way too hard?

Answer: Hugo

This large and clumsy snow creature only appears a few times but he is enormous and simply wants to take care of Bugs or Daffy as if they were his pets. He usually calls them "George" and sometimes punishes them for being bad by walloping them on the behind. He also bares a resemblance to Sam, the sheepdog that often appears opposite Ralph (Wile E. Coyote).
4. What are the two colors on Elmer Fudd's hunting hat?

Answer: Red and Brown

It is a large hunting hat with a small brim. There are two vertical patches of brown and two of red and the bottom of the hat including the bill is brown as well. Elmer does not pull the hat on very far and so it usually sits way too high on his head causing it to fold over slightly.
5. What kind of shoes does Marvin the Martian usually wear?

Answer: Sneakers

While most of his outfit seems appropriate for his space environment, Marvin apparently prefers simple sneakers for footwear. They are mostly white with red accents and look very large compared to his physical size.
6. What part of Daffy Duck is sometimes blown off or tweaked out of position?

Answer: Bill

Usually caused by some sort of explosive or firearm or falling from too far, Daffy's bill has gone through quite a bit. It has been blown off (during which times Daffy can still talk with it), spun around, inverted and everything in between. No need to worry, though; like the rest of the "Tunes" he is usually back to normal in the next scene.
7. Egg Head is a little chicken that sometimes co-stars in Foghorn Leghorn cartoons and is usually temporarily left in the care of Foghorn. Which of the following is NOT true about this tiny chicken?

Answer: He frequently engages in verbal arguments with Foghorn

Egghead is a little chicken with very large, black-rimmed glasses. He is incredibly smart and frequently takes notes on what happens to Foghorn. He also wears a small beanie on his large head. Despite Foghorn's many efforts to add street smarts to Egghead's book smarts, Egghead remains steadfast in his personality and values.

He never speaks a single word in any of the episodes and while he disagrees with many of Foghorn's activity suggestions, never voices his opinion either way. He simply participates or refuses to participate depending on the situation. And when he does participate, he usually wins whatever activity they are doing (i.e. there is one episode where Foghorn pretends to be a bad guy and wants Egghead to defend himself. Egghead sends ships into the water toward Foghorn and they are surprisingly effective, causing Foghorn to sink).
8. In several episodes, Bugs Bunny tricks Elmer Fudd into jumping from an incredibly high diving board into what?

Answer: A Glass of Water

Elmer usually successfully completes this feat, compressing his entire body into the glass of water. Bugs usually convinces Elmer to do this by pretending it is some huge performance for a large audience and congratulating him after it is over. Sometimes there is already a pool there but Bugs replaces it with a glass of water.
9. What is the name of the enormous boxer that Bugs has to face in one of the episodes ("Bunny Hugged") with whom Bugs initially struggles but eventually defeats? (This is the episode when Bugs takes over for Ravishing Rollo)

Answer: The Crusher

When they begin fighting, Bugs tries to take down The Crusher with traditional means but cannot make him budge an inch by hitting or pushing or pulling him. He even ends up climbing onto Crusher's head to try and take him down but the Crusher is not fazed at all.

The Crusher initially beats Bugs up a little until Bugs begins his usual trickery. After a series of tricks and shenanigans, the Crusher is eventually knocked silly and as he falls down for the last time repeats "Duh, which way did he go? Which way did he go? Duh..."
10. Which of the following is NOT a line often spoken to or about Bugs Bunny?

Answer: "Oh, why don't you just go dig yourself a hole, rabbit!"

"I hate that rabbit." is a line usually spoken by Yosemite Sam about Bugs Bunny and is usually spoken in a resignation of defeat; at least for the moment.

"You're despicable!" is spoken by Daffy Duck on numerous occasions and is directed at Bugs Bunny. It is usually prompted by a time when Bugs tricks Daffy, causing some disaster to befall Daffy instead of Bugs.

"Be very quiet. I'm huntin' rabbits!" could perhaps be more phonetically spelled, "Be vewy quiet. I'm hunting wabbits!" and is always uttered by Elmer Fudd when he is in silent pursuit of Bugs. It is usually quickly followed by a discovery of what Elmer calls "wabbit twacks" (rabbit tracks).

The fourth line listed is made up.
