Angela told Temperance that she did not want to go to the Christmas party while she knew her best friend was 'eyeball to eyeball with Skeletor'. As usual, Brennan did not understand the pop culture reference of He-Man's arch enemy from the "Masters of the Universe" cartoon, comic, and movie. Frank Langella portrayed Skeletor opposite Dolph Lundgren's He-Man in the 1987 feature film.

The skeleton of a man was found inside a fallout shelter and Booth wanted Temperance to try and identify the remains. Booth knew she couldn't resist, holiday or no holiday, and Zack later accused Booth of using her to avoid paper work.

Zack created an adorable little robot that responded to voice commands, but the machine was not listening very well. Zack told Hodgins he needed to fix the voice recognition protocols. "Firefly" was the short-lived TV series created by Joss Whedon, which produced an excellent full length feature film in 2005 called "Serenity". Joss also created both "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "Angel", which at one time starred David Boreanaz (Booth). "Wonderfalls'" executive producer was Tim Minear, also of "Firefly" and "Angel" fame. Tim went on to create his own show, "The Inside", but it only lasted seven episodes during the summer of 2005.

There was much questioning made of Zack and Hodgins about if they followed contamination protocol. While the men did run straight for the decontamination showers, it was Hodgins' fault they were kept locked down in the lab. He had his face mask off to sip an eggnog while Zac was sawing on the bone.

It was the potential that Hodgins could have exhaled the spores of the fungus back into the lab that caused the lock down. Zack listed the symptoms as pneumonia, meningitis, miscarriage and death as possible outcomes of infection.

Lionel Little was murdered when he tried to sell a collection of valuable coins. The man, Gil Atkins, must have decided that stealing approximately $8,000 worth was better than paying for it.

Lionel had the two tickets to Paris in order to get he and his lover out of the country. It turned out that she was pregnant and in 1959 it was illegal for a biracial couple to get married. A white man, as Lionel was, and a black woman could not be a legal couple. He also had love letters from his lady, Ivy Gillespie, a gold wedding band, and a rare 1943 one cent bronze penny.

Brennan did an exhaustive search for Ivy Gillespie, finally locating her in an assisted living facility in Maryland. She'd gone on to have Lionel's daughter in 1960, raised her and sent her off to college. Their daughter became a nurse, but died in 1997. Ivy went on to raise her granddaughter Lisa, who wanted to become a doctor.

Answer: Parker

Booth explained that the child's mother had refused to marry him, so his parental rights were vague. Goodman showed that he had twin five year old girls, and he made Christmas in his house. Parker came to see Booth for half days on Christmas, and Booth was sad to have missed this one.
Alexander (Xander) Harris, Lyndsey McDonald and Wesley Wyndam Pryce were all characters on one or both "Buffy" and "Angel".

They all sat around a big table eating out of Chinese food cartons. They discussed their belief, or disbelief, in a higher power. Everyone believed in some god, except Brennan and Zack. Zack claimed to be a "rational empiricist all the way- unless you ask my mother- then I'm Lutheran".
