Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Was overweight in high school and at least part of college.

Answer: Both

As seen on "New Girl", Schmidt (first name still unknown as of mid-season 5) and Nick were college roommates, and Schmidt was overweight. He'd admitted he was overweight before college as well, and some hilarious flashbacks scenes have been shown for both characters, Schmidt and Monica, in fat suits. Those scenes were basically the characters owning their past and not being hung up on their weight issues.
2. Married a man named Chandler Bing.

Answer: Monica

Monica and Chandler "hooked up" in London when they went there for Ross' wedding to Emily. The marriage failed for Ross, but "Friends" ended with Chandler and Monica still married.
3. At one time lived with Jessica, Coach, and Winston.

Answer: Schmidt

Max Greenfield plays the lovable Schmidt. Jess moved into their apartment after her boyfriend cheated on her, and Coach moved out of Schmidt's. Coach returned a few seasons later and spent a whole season will ALL of them living in the apartment.
4. Dated a politician named Fawn Moscato.

Answer: Schmidt

Fawn was very alpha female, and Schmidt enjoyed being both ordered around by her, and by being dismissed by her, whatever her mood called for. It was a funny performance by Zoe Lister-Jones.
5. Was a chef in New York City.

Answer: Monica

Monica had trouble finding her perfect fit as a chef in the Big Apple. She even cooked in costume for a while on the show, which was when she met the software millionaire Pete. After Courteney Cox married David Arquette, the entire cast had their names changed in he opening credits for one episode. They all had Arquette as a second last name, just like Courteney.
6. Dated an eye doctor who was 21 years older in the show's second season.

Answer: Monica

He was, in fact, her eye doctor when she was younger. Richard, played by Tom Selleck, was friends with Jack and Judy Geller. After a long marriage, Richard and his wife divorced. He and Monica were really happy together, until Richard admitted he had no interest in starting another family. Monica wanted children, so she had to end their relationship.

She briefly dated his son a couple seasons later, but it was too weird.
7. This character's mother was played by "Saturday Night Live" alum Nora Dunn.

Answer: Schmidt

His mom was slightly judgmental, and holding his own Bar Mitzvah money over his head after all of these years. She'd kept it from him because he never would write out the "Thank You" cards to his guests. Christine Pickles played Monica's mom, and she also starred in the movie "The Wedding Singer" with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.
8. Adopted twins, which were named Jack and Erica.

Answer: Monica

Monica and Chandler discovered they were both unable to have children the traditional way, so they decided to adopt. Actress Anna Farris played the birth mother, who unexpectedly had twins. The boy was named Jack, after Monica's dad, and they named the baby girl Erica, after her birth mother.
9. Once accused the maid of stealing a pair of jeans and a bra in season eight.

Answer: Monica

In "TOW The Stain", Chandler hired a maid, who turned out to be very good at her job. Monica liked that fact, but she was also unable to handle (in general) another woman cleaning her house. So, she trumped up the accusation of clothes stealing. It turned out Rachel stole the jeans with the ink stain and Monica was wearing the bra she couldn't find. And, though it wasn't part of Schmidt's weird behavior, it is something he is completely capable of doing.
10. Had a serious romantic relationship with a good friend.

Answer: Both

Monica dated and married Chandler, her brother's best friend, and friend to her and all of her other friends as well. Schmidt dated CeCe, his roommate (and good friend) Jess' best friend. CeCe and Schmidt were friends as well. On "Friends" Ross and Rachel were also friends who dated, and "New Girl", so were Jess and Nick. In season five Schmidt and CeCe planned their wedding.
