Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. High school football coach Eric Taylor

Answer: Friday Night Lights

Kyle Chandler played Coach Taylor for five seasons (2006-2011). The show took place mostly in the fictional town of Dillon, Texas and introduced fans to actors such as Zach Gilford, Taylor Kitsch, and Jesse Plemmons.
2. Chemistry teacher turned drug dealer Walter White

Answer: Breaking Bad

"Breaking Bad" aired five seasons on AMC and spun a tale of desperation and treachery. Walter, dying of lung cancer, used his chemistry knowledge to create an exceptional strain of blue meth. The series introduced us to fabulous characters that reappeared in the prequel series "Better Call Saul". Bryan Cranston played Walter.
3. Pawnee, Indiana government worker Leslie Knope

Answer: Parks and Recreation

Former "SNL" cast member Amy Poehler created the role of Leslie, an ambitious, organized, and caring member of the local Parks department on the show. It aired seven seasons, and carried the character into the future beyond Pawnee. Fans got up close and personal with actor Chris Pratt as the not too bright, but lovable, Andy Dwyer. Chris appeared in all seven seasons, and went on to become an action movie star in "Zero Dark Thirty", "Guardians of the Galaxy", and "Jurassic World".
4. Evil lawyer Lilah Morgan

Answer: Angel

Played by Stephanie Romanov during the first four seasons of "Angel", Lilah was the source of constant irritation to the gang at Angel Investigations. Unlike her fellow employee Lindsey McDonald, Lilah had no moral quandaries or hopes of redemption. She even had to stay employed after her death, or in her words, "standard perpetuity clause". The show aired five seasons total.
5. Chef, and ladies man, Jack Tripper

Answer: Three's Company

Jack moved in with Janet and Chrissy in 1977 and pretended to be gay so that his landlord wouldn't "disapprove" of the threesome as roomies. Jack was quite handsome and had many romantic prospects, so hiding his heterosexuality was hilarious. He aspired to become a chef, and eventually did so.

The show aired for 8 seasons, but Chrissy did not stay on as the third roommate the entire run. The funny and talented John Ritter played Jack.
6. Truth seeker and FBI agent Fox Mulder

Answer: The X-Files

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson began their run on the series in 1993. As of 2016, the show had two full length movies, nine originally run seasons, and one six episode season 10. Mulder and Scully are iconic cult characters, whose fans never seem to tire of learning more about their world.
7. Prison inmate and Aryan Brotherhood member Vern Schillinger

Answer: Oz

Possibly one of the most brutal and shocking TV series at the time it was first airing on HBO, "Oz" told the story of inmates inside the fictional Oswald Penitentiary. J.K. Simmons gave a riveting performance as Vernon Schillinger. He went on to become a huge star, playing a range of character types.

Some of his more memorable roles are in "Juno", "The Closer", "Whiplash", and his commercials for Farmer's Insurance (in America). "Oz" aired six seasons.
8. Undercover police detective Sonny Crockett

Answer: Miami Vice

Crockett and his partner, Rico Tubbs, investigated all manner of vice in the TV series that aired five seasons in the 1980s. The show's theme song was techno driven and very popular at the time, and lots of men were seen wearing the pastel and sun shades look worn on the show. Don Johnson played Sonny and Philip Michael Thomas played Rico.
9. Strike Team detective Vic Mackey

Answer: The Shield

Vic and his Strike Team members were ruthless and corrupt, and all played expertly by their actors. Michael Chiklis played Vic, the leader of the team, which investigated both vice and homicide in the fiction Farmington section of Los Angeles. This was an FX Network original series, and very successful.

It aired seven seasons. Many notable guest stars appeared on the series, including Glenn Close, Anthony Anderson, and Forest Whitaker. It also shined a light on the immense talent of Walton Goggins, who played Shane. Walton went on to appear on "Justified", "Sons of Anarchy", and "Vice Principals".
10. Preacher and exorcist Reverend Anderson

Answer: Outcast

"Outcast" is a Cinemax original series, starring Philip Glenister as Reverend Anderson and Patrick Fugit as Kyle Barnes, the Outcast. It premiered in May of 2016. Season one takes place mostly in Rome, West Virginia and shows the past and present in tandem, weaving the story of the Outcast.

The series is based off of the graphic novels by "Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman and co-writer Paul Azaceta. The series also stars Wrenn Schmidt, David Denman, Reg E. Cathey, and Brent Spiner. Since the series is so new, as of the creation of this quiz, I have been purposely vague about the plot in this info section.
