Gus's job at the pharmaceutical company was in jeopardy after his boss instructed him to choose between it and Psych. Gus was torn, but intimidated easily, and agreed to sign a paper of accommodation. Fortunately, the boss higher in the food chain needed the boys to help him with his "haunted" house. They solved his problem and Gus was allowed to continue moonlighting at Psych.

Shawn and Gus graduated in 1995. For some reason, which I probably missed, Gus was in charge of the thirteenth year reunion. We also found out that he'd been captain of the Pep Squad, which was another name for "male cheerleader", according to Shawn. The mystery revolved around a murder Shawn witnessed, but couldn't immediately prove. Lassiter was also at the reunion, as the date of one of the guys' female classmates.

It turned out that the murdered man was still stashed on campus, and that he'd taken the fall thirteen years earlier for the football captain and head cheerleader.

They decided to kill him, as the football star was running for state assemblyman. A side mystery also solved was Lassiter's date filling prescription drugs for years under an alias. Rachel Leigh Cook guest starred as the one that got away from Shawn. Abigail had finally agreed to date Shawn at the end of their senior year, but he got nervous and stood her up.

He made it all up to her when he admitted that, and then proved it by stating exactly what she wore and what she did while she waited for him.

Answer: Uncle Jack

Steven Webber guest starred as Henry's brother Jack. Jack came full of fanciful tales of faraway places. Most of the episode was a go-between of the hunt for the treasure, and the men being interviewed at the police station. In the end, Shawn did locate the treasure hidden in the painted caves of the Chumash Indians.

He and Gus decided to give most of the gold coins to the local museum, tricking the con-artist Jack in the process. The tribe, Chumash, were real and also mentioned often on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Answer: Santa Barbara Coast Guard

Jane Lynch guest starred as Barbara Dunbar, Karen Vick's older and accomplished sister. When a death occurred in the waters offshore, Karen and Barbara tussled over ownership of the scene. And while Shawn and Gus were supposed to be working for the Coast Guard on this one, all Shawn wanted was to find evidence to tie the death to an act on land.

He was able to do so, as the man was murdered. The sisters reconciled after years of rivalry, only to fall back into their game when Barbara decided to ask out Carlton!

Answer: Juliet

Juliet took on the alternate identity of Maniac. She turned out to be a pretty good roller derby chick as well. She found a portable scanner device hidden inside the ceiling of the locker room, which corroborated Shawn's assessment that the "robberies" committed by the team were actually identity theft scams.

Shawn waited for Juliet to come back to the rink to turn in her equipment. Once there, they shared a couples' skate he had prearranged.

Gus had to study for his pharmaceutical rep recertification test while also trying so solve the robberies committed by roller derby girls. When he tried to log online to take the test at the end of the episode, the system kept blocking him. Shawn then revealed he had already taken Gus' test for him, to which Gus commented he had studied all week for nothing.

When the SWAT arrived on the scene of the bank hostage, Luntz walked on scene with musical homage. In a scene frighteningly reflective of Horatio Cane on "CSI Miami", Luntz strutted his stuff and slipped his sunglasses on in a Cane parody. Gary Cole may best be remember for his roles on "Midnight Caller" and "American Gothic".

Answer: he was being coerced by people holding his wife hostage

He had been forced to come into the bank to fake a heist. He was to take diamonds from a safety deposit box and hand them over to an unknown man. It turned out that the men in question were both in the bank. One of them was the bank manager, and Shawn noticed on the surveillance tape that he approached Phil before Phil even made a request for the diamonds.

The other man was inside the bank as well, and got caught up in Phil's desperate hostage situation before he could exit.

Lassiter actually knew that Shawn wanted Juliet, and Juliet knew it as well. Instead of Shawn, she had chosen to date Cameron "Cam" Luntz from SWAT. And while he broke their initial date due to smelling like a sewer (thanks to Shawn), he rescheduled for another date right away. This disappointed Shawn, but like always he took it well. Season four is set to begin airing in January 2009.
