Dimitri headed up Marick Industries and his wealth led him to want to diversify his stock portfolio by purchasing enough stock in Enchantment. Erica disapproved of Dimitri's attempts to control the company she built from the ground up. She also hated the fact that Dimitri wanted to take over Enchantment and have her nemesis, Natalie, be involved in running the company's operations. Eventually, they got over their initial disapproval of each other and fell in love.

Dimitri and Natalie hosted a grand ball to celebrate their engagement during February of 1992. Midway through the festivities, though, Helga, a Wildwind housekeeper, wheeled out Dimitri's presumed dead wife, Angelique Voynitzeva. Distraught, Natalie broke off her engagement to Dimitri and reunited with Trevor. It was a few months later that Dimitri and Erica fell for one another.

Dimitri had a home in Budapest called Vadzel. In late 1992, Erica went to Budapest for business reasons and was shocked to find Dimitri there. In one episode, Dimitri took her sight seeing in the Hungarian capital. Some tourist attractions they visited were the Chain Bridge, Fisherman's Bastion and Heroes' Square. On a personal note, the author of this quiz traveled to Budapest in November of 2019 (he was inspired to go there after Dimitri and Erica's story in the city) and highly recommends everyone someday visit this enchanting, beautiful city.

One night, there was a storm and Erica was stranded at the Wildwind hunting lodge. She and Dimitri made love while they were there. Erica told Dimitri she wanted to get rid of the beard and he reluctantly allowed her to shave it off.

Answer: Kendall Hart

Kendall Hart came to town and caused multiple problems for Dimitri and Erica. Despite this, both of them tried to work with her since she was Erica's daughter. One night, Dimitri and Kendall argued in the Wildwind hunting lodge and Erica saw Dimitri shake Kendall. The next day, Kendall lied to Erica that Dimitri had raped her. Erica believed Kendall's lies due to what she saw that night.

Dimitri and Erica had a heated argument one evening about Kendall's accusation that Dimitri had raped her. Erica started to envision Dimitri as Richard Fields, the man who raped her on her 14th birthday. (This rape was how Kendall was conceived.) She grabbed a letter opener and stabbed Dimitri.

At her trial, Erica was found not guilty due to diminished capacity over her suffering from symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder during the heated encounter with Dimitri.

Answer: New Year's Eve

After many months of hard feelings and tense arguments, Dimitri and Erica reunited in the Fall of 1994. They had a small wedding on New Year's Eve and officially tied the knot for a second time. Edmund and Bianca attended the ceremony.

Dimitri had become fed up with Erica's shenanigans while she was addicted to painkillers. The final straw for him was when she bailed Jonathan Kinder, her doctor, out of jail after he confessed to a hit and run that involved Maria Santos and a pregnant Kelsey Jefferson (Erica was actually the driver).

He served her with divorce papers. Erica went to Wildwind to explain to him why she bailed Jonathan out but Jonathan cautioned her against it. Shortly after this, they made love in Erica's bedroom at her home, Linden House.

Answer: Skye Chandler

Skye was vehemently opposed to Dimitri and Erica remarrying since she saw Dimitri and Maria have a one night stand. On the day of their wedding, she interrupted the ceremony to ask Erica if she got her note about not marrying Dimitri due to the one-night stand.

The guests were livid with Skye but Erica started to have cramps and went to the hospital. Sadly, she miscarried her child with Dimitri. The two did not end up marrying for a third time as Erica found out about Dimitri and Maria's one-night stand.

Answer: Bianca's intervention

Dimitri and Erica participated in an intervention over Bianca's anorexia nervosa diagnosis along with other people. While Dimitri spoke with Bianca, he told her that he never stopped loving for Erica. Immediately after the intervention concluded, Erica spoke with Dimitri and thought he lied to Bianca about still loving her so as to please Bianca. Dimitri advised her that it was not a lie.
