The cop set up Reno to be killed and when the plan failed, Dixon set Reno up to be framed for murder.

Reno told Bobby and Cheyenne that his brother died in the war, but the VCR tape they watched showed Mitch fighting in a cage fight. Cheyenne and Reno went undercover to find out how Mitch was alive and why he was in a cage fight. This was the first two part episode for "Renegade" and the first season finale.
