1. In the episode "Outsiders", the Atlantis team tries to stop the Wraith from either finding a cure for the retrovirus or exterminating all those infected. The Iratus bug retrovirus was developed by Dr. Carson Becket and is deadly to the Wraith. The Wraith are taken into custody and this conversation happens:

Lt. Colonel John Sheppard: "Jervis taken care of?"

Teyla Emmagan: "He and his men have been locked up. They will not be giving us any more trouble, though I do not think it was necessary to stun them."

What is Ronon's response?
Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. In the episode, "The Long Goodbye," during a voyage in a Puddle Jumper, Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and Dr. Rodney McKay try to explain television to Teyla Emmagan and Ronon Dex.

Ronon Dex: "So people just sit and watch this box for hours at a time?"

Maj. John Sheppard: "Yeah, people do."

Teyla Emmagan: "Is it that engaging?"

Maj. John Sheppard: "Depends what's on it. There are lots of programs on dozens of channels, every day, all day."

Dr. Rodney McKay: "Most of which are fictional representations of ridiculously attractive people in absurd situations."

Maj. John Sheppard: "There are educational programs, all sorts of documentaries. Not many people watch 'em but, uh, well, they're on."

What is Ronon's observance to this conversation?
Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. The episode is "Sateda", and Ronon has been turned over to the Wraith by villagers. The Wraith implant a tracking device and set Ronon down on Sateda. After taking on and killing a number of Wraith, he is found by his team. Ronon takes on the last most dangerous Wraith of the group and the dialogue goes like this:

Dex: "You kill him before I do, I kill you."

Major Sheppard: "What if he kills you first?"

What is Ronon's reply?
Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. From the episode "The Long Goodbye" (ala an episode from "Star Trek"), Sheppard and Weir's bodies are inhabited by alien life forces. These alien forces use their bodies to wreak havoc throughout Atlantis. Ronon and Teyla set out to find them. Dialogue:

Ronon Dex: "We need to split up. I'll take Sheppard, you go after Weir."

Teyla Emmagan: "Why?"

What is the response given by Ronon that would make you say "typical male response"?
Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. In "Tao of Rodney", Dr. Mckay is zapped by an ancient force and acquires "powers". To protect him from himself, Ronon is assigned to accompany him around.

Dr. Rodney McKay: "You know, we could be a team. You could be my sidekick."

Ronon Dex: "Sidekick?".

Dr. Rodney McKay: "Yeah, it'd be like Batman and Ronon. Has a nice ring to it."

To which Ronon promptly replies what?
Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. The episode is "Doppelganger". Sheppard touches a crystal on an alien planet and becomes infected with something that causes nightmares. It is passed through physical contact and affects more people before the doctors can identify it.

Dr. Jennifer Keller: [Keller is describing her nightmare] "It was terrifying. There you were with this disgusting alien bug crawling out of your stomach, and Colonel Sheppard was acting like it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen."

Ronon Dex: "That sounds like that movie."

Dr. Jennifer Keller: "Yeah, 'Alien'. Have you seen it?"

Teyla Emmagan: "Colonel Sheppard speaks of it often."

Dr. Rodney McKay: "I still remember the first time I saw it. Certainly did not think it was cool."

Dr. Jennifer Keller: "One time in med school, I made the mistake of confiding to my partner in biology class that it had caused my all-time worst nightmares. He actually planted a live snake inside a cadaver I was working on."

Dr. Rodney McKay: "Well, I never saw it as a kid. I knew from the poster it was gonna be too scary. I was 16 when a neighborhood theater had a horror revival festival. I thought, great... date, movie. So... Jocelyn Rutger, third period science. Bit of a geek, but she had a great, um... Anyway, you know how girls get all, uh, scared, curl up on your shoulder?"

Teyla Emmagan: "Your planet has some truly strange rituals."

Dr. Rodney McKay: "Anyway, I eat when I get nervous."

Ronon Dex: "Really? I hadn't noticed."

Dr. Rodney McKay: "So, very tense, working like a charm. Jocelyn's all freaked out beside me. I'm packing away the Goobers and the popcorn. And then the alien bursts out of John Hurt."

Teyla Emmagan: "You didn't?"

Dr. Rodney McKay: "Puked all over her."

What is Ronon's reaction?
Hint

Woolsey: "I figured you might say that. Use this."(He hands him a small device.)

Ronon looks uncomfortable and says what?
Hint

Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In the episode "Outsiders", the Atlantis team tries to stop the Wraith from either finding a cure for the retrovirus or exterminating all those infected. The Iratus bug retrovirus was developed by Dr. Carson Becket and is deadly to the Wraith. The Wraith are taken into custody and this conversation happens: Lt. Colonel John Sheppard: "Jervis taken care of?" Teyla Emmagan: "He and his men have been locked up. They will not be giving us any more trouble, though I do not think it was necessary to stun them." What is Ronon's response?

Answer: "Felt good, though."

Col. Sheppard and his team locate Dr. Beckett on an alien planet where he is treating a small group of survivors for the Hoffan plague. These patients, who escaped a Wraith attack on their home world, found sanctuary on this alien planet. The Wraith shows up and threatens the villagers with annihilation if they don't turn over the infected people.
2. In the episode, "The Long Goodbye," during a voyage in a Puddle Jumper, Lt. Colonel John Sheppard and Dr. Rodney McKay try to explain television to Teyla Emmagan and Ronon Dex. Ronon Dex: "So people just sit and watch this box for hours at a time?" Maj. John Sheppard: "Yeah, people do." Teyla Emmagan: "Is it that engaging?" Maj. John Sheppard: "Depends what's on it. There are lots of programs on dozens of channels, every day, all day." Dr. Rodney McKay: "Most of which are fictional representations of ridiculously attractive people in absurd situations." Maj. John Sheppard: "There are educational programs, all sorts of documentaries. Not many people watch 'em but, uh, well, they're on." What is Ronon's observance to this conversation?

Answer: " And that's what everybody on your planet does for entertainment? Watch a box?"

They really make it sound like an "idiot box." Rodney, wishing to display his intellectual superiority once more, lets them know he is above watching television. So he adds, "Not everyone -- although I will confess to the occasional half hour of 'Jeopardy'". It is so funny because Ronon takes the name literally and says, "Sounds dangerous."
3. The episode is "Sateda", and Ronon has been turned over to the Wraith by villagers. The Wraith implant a tracking device and set Ronon down on Sateda. After taking on and killing a number of Wraith, he is found by his team. Ronon takes on the last most dangerous Wraith of the group and the dialogue goes like this: Dex: "You kill him before I do, I kill you." Major Sheppard: "What if he kills you first?" What is Ronon's reply?

Answer: "Then you kill him."

While Ronon is a "runner" he takes refuge in a village. The inhabitants feed and nurse him. Their "reward" from the Wraith is the burning of their village and culling of the people. Ronon is known there as "The Wraithbringer." The villagers are sworn to inform the Wraith should he return and they would forever be free of culling.

They are lied to by the Wraith. "Do you want to live forever" is a line from "Conan, the Barbarian".
4. From the episode "The Long Goodbye" (ala an episode from "Star Trek"), Sheppard and Weir's bodies are inhabited by alien life forces. These alien forces use their bodies to wreak havoc throughout Atlantis. Ronon and Teyla set out to find them. Dialogue: Ronon Dex: "We need to split up. I'll take Sheppard, you go after Weir." Teyla Emmagan: "Why?" What is the response given by Ronon that would make you say "typical male response"?

Answer: "I know how he thinks. I don't have the slightest clue how she thinks."

The female entity convinces the SA team that she and the other entity are husband and wife. In reality they are enemies with unfinished business. Even though they are the last of their species, their hatred consumes them. The "Star Trek" episode is "Return to Tomorrow"; Spock, Kirk and Mulhall are convinced to let Sargon and his wife, and another entity, inhabit their bodies and then all heck breaks loose.
5. In "Tao of Rodney", Dr. Mckay is zapped by an ancient force and acquires "powers". To protect him from himself, Ronon is assigned to accompany him around. Dr. Rodney McKay: "You know, we could be a team. You could be my sidekick." Ronon Dex: "Sidekick?". Dr. Rodney McKay: "Yeah, it'd be like Batman and Ronon. Has a nice ring to it." To which Ronon promptly replies what?

Answer: " Yeah, you keep eating like that, it's more like Fatman"

These powers are usually granted as a test before ascension. Unfortunately, unless Rodney can learn to become humble and give up his ego he will die. Rodney become humble? No way!
There you were with this disgusting alien bug crawling out of your stomach, and Colonel Sheppard was acting like it was the coolest thing he'd ever seen." Ronon Dex: "That sounds like that movie." Dr. Jennifer Keller: "Yeah, 'Alien'. Have you seen it?" Teyla Emmagan: "Colonel Sheppard speaks of it often." Dr. Rodney McKay: "I still remember the first time I saw it. Certainly did not think it was cool." Dr. Jennifer Keller: "One time in med school, I made the mistake of confiding to my partner in biology class that it had caused my all-time worst nightmares. He actually planted a live snake inside a cadaver I was working on." Dr. Anyway, you know how girls get all, uh, scared, curl up on your shoulder?" Teyla Emmagan: "Your planet has some truly strange rituals." Dr. Rodney McKay: "Anyway, I eat when I get nervous." Ronon Dex: "Really? I hadn't noticed." Dr. Rodney McKay: "So, very tense, working like a charm. Jocelyn's all freaked out beside me. I'm packing away the Goobers and the popcorn. And then the alien bursts out of John Hurt." Teyla Emmagan: "You didn't?" Dr. Rodney McKay: "Puked all over her." What is Ronon's reaction?

Answer: He says "I have GOT to see this movie!"

On M3X-387 Sheppard comes in contact with a crystal entity. When he returns to the Atlantis the effect of the entity causes everyone to experience nightmares.
7. In "Misbegotten" the Atlantis team has turned a colony of Wraith into humans. "Michael" had started to turn back into a Wraith and is rebelling. Ronon storms into the cell and it is short and sweet. Michael Kenmore: "Are you my executioner?" Ronon replies what?

Answer: "I wish." [and stuns him]

Ronon has a long history of disdain for the Wraith. In destroying his home planet, his fiance was killed. The Wraith captured and tortured him. When they realized his resolve, he was implanted with a tracking device and turned into a "runner." He was then hunted from planet to planet.
8. In "The Last Man", Michael has taken over one of the bases. Ronon and Todd hold off the troops long enough to allow evacuation of the friendlies. Todd plants C-4 to destroy the base. Todd the Wraith: "I was going to write an elaborate programme designed to slowly create a fatal error in the primary capacitor, but I doubt there'll be time for that now." Ronon says what?

Answer: "I was just gonna blow it up."

Todd is a recurring character. He is imprisoned along side Sheppard and becomes his ally. In order to escape, Todd has to "feed" off Sheppard to gain strength. The feeding causes Sheppard to age. When the Stargate team finds them and sees Sheppard's condition, they want to kill Todd.

A new Wraith trait is discovered in this episode. The Wraith can give back the energy they have taken. When Todd reverses the damage he had done to Sheppard, Rodney is jealous. He says Sheppard looks younger than he did before the feeding.
9. "The Prodigal" episode begins with Ronon being asked by Woolsey why he hasn't received any of Ronon's mission reports. Ronon first says, "Because I haven't given you any?" Woolsey tells him reports are required henceforth. Ronon: "I'm not good at writing." Woolsey: "I figured you might say that. Use this."(He hands him a small device.) Woolsey: "It's a digital voice recorder. Speak into it - we'll plug it in and your report will be automatically transcribed and filed with the others." Ronon looks uncomfortable and says what?

Answer: "I'm not good at talking either."

In this episode Michael comes back to kidnap Teyla's son. He takes over Atlantis after taking everyone by surprise. He believes Teyla's son is the "key to increasing his strength" in order to take over the galaxy.
10. In "The Prodigal", Michael infiltrates Atlantis and tries to kidnap Teyla's baby. Previously, Ronon was told that he never files reports after a mission so he was given a recording device so he can record his reports. After he saves the day, what do you think his report sounds like?

Answer: "Mission report. Michael invaded Atlantis. Tried to blow it up. We stopped him. End of report."

In this episode Ronon becomes impressed by Amelia Banks' fighting ability. In the last episode, "Enemy at the Gate", we find that a relationship has developed between them off screen.
