Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. In this season, thirteen queens joined the competition only for seven of them to head almost immediately into a loading dock named after which former racer?

Answer: Victoria 'Porkchop' Parker

Although queens generally entered the workroom and met each other in a single sequence, season 13 changed the game a little bit, bringing in racers as duos and asking them to head directly to the main stage to lipsync for their lives. The queens who impressed Ru on first impression alone would head into the Winner's Circle and remain in the competition while the losing queen would be sent directly to the 'Porkchop Loading Dock', named after the show's first-ever eliminated contestant back in season one.

The seven queens sent there were later asked to vote someone amongst them out-- permanently-- and after a vote and re-vote, they unanimously sent Elliott with Two Ts away. The joke was on them; she was sent to the Winner's Circle instead.
2. This season, viewers really got to know the queens. During which episode was the first queen eliminated from the competition?

Answer: 4

Though queens were split up through episodes 2 and 3 to create group numbers and original lines for separate RuPaul tracks ("Condragulations" for the Winner's Circle and "Phenomenon" for the Porkchop Girls), they never united in the workroom until episode 4 after a season 12-esque introductory period.

This meant that in episode 4, when the queens were asked to join teams to create RuPaulMark Holiday Specials, they would be bringing their best to avoid getting the actual chop. The bottom two during this week ended up being Denali and Kahmora Hall and, after a high-energy lipsync to "100% Pure Love", the latter went home.
3. This season's 'ball' episode involved which of the following themes?

Answer: Bags

Ru brought the girls their ball in the fifth episode, insisting that all twelve contestants create three bag-themed looks to celebrate on the runway. First, they had to bring out their best 'Mixed Bag' look, taking the bag concept to another level. Second, they had to put forth a 'Money Bags' look. Finally, they had to construct a garment out of bags of all sorts for their final 'Bag Ball Eleganza' look.

This meant that the judges critiqued thirty-six outfits altogether. Gottmik was the winner this time while Lala Ri and Joey Jay were placed at the bottom to lipsync.

Despite having the universally-regarded worst outfit, Lala took the win for this, staying in the competition.
4. This season saw the return of which acting challenge involving outlandish roles?

Answer: Bossy Rossy

In episode seven the final ten queens dove headlong into a new acting challenge, being required to play specific roles in improvised scenarios on the set of 'Bossy Rossy: After Dark'. The original 'Bossy Rossy', hosted by Ross Matthews, was previously seen in Season 10 (and was won by Eureka O'Hara).

This time around, Olivia Lux took the win for making the most of a small role (as a mime) while Elliott with 2 Ts and LaLa Ri were asked to lipsync to Kelly Clarkson's "Whole Lotta Woman". It got Lala sent home.
5. This season's RuSical performance led to a controversial lipsync leading to what rare end-result?

Answer: A double shanté

This season's RuSical, themed around social media, saw the queens personify famous platforms as they took to the stage with unique lines and choreography. The challenge proved tough for most due to the extensive musical numbers and complicated moves, and while Rosé took her first win of the season, it sent Symone and Kandy Muse to the bottom, forcing them to lipsync for their lives to the Fifth Harmony song "Boss".

In a surprise turn of events, Ru told Kandy to sashay away, but changed her mind at the last moment, resulting in a non-elimination.
6. Which role was taken on by the winner of this season's Snatch Game?

Answer: Paris Hilton

This season's Snatch Game, held with the Top 9 still in contention, was won by Gottmik playing the role of Paris Hilton while other stand-outs included Denali (as Jonathan Van Ness) and Rosé (as Mary, Queen of Scots). As is tradition, Snatch Game had the ability to sort out the strong impersonators from the weak with little effort; Ru placed Elliot with Two Ts in the bottom with Utica, and after a runway themed around fascinators, Elliot was asked to sashay away (and not for the first time this season).
7. Due to COVID-19 protocols, this season's makeover challenge was done with who as the made-over counterpart?

Answer: Another queen

The tenth episode of the season was the makeover episode, and while these weeks are usually held with people outside the cast of the show, COVID protocols complicated matters. Though past seasons involved the queens making over their relatives, show crew members, fans, and others, they were instead partnered up by production and forced to make over each other in the style of themselves.

While Symone and Utica excelled in this challenge, Denali and Olivia Lux failed to imprint their personalities and styles onto each other and they were forced to lipsync (with the former going home).
8. Who was the subject of this season's roast challenge?

Answer: Previous Miss Congeniality winners

While previous seasons have used RuPaul, Michelle Visage, and Lady Bunny as roast victims, this season brought back Valentina, Nina West, and Heidi N Closet, all past Miss Congeniality recipients. It led the final six queens, none of which completely known for their scathing comedy, to create jokes that jabbed at their fellow queens, the judges, and the guests of honour to varying degrees of success. Notably, Utica was heckled by the judging panel for some of her nervy observations and digs; she would head to the lipsync against Symone and be sent home in sixth place.
9. Which track was used during this season's final challenge?

Answer: Lucky

This season's top four were presented with the typical music video shoot seen in past seasons (though season 12 diverged from this a slight bit) as they were asked to learn choreography and create new lyrics for RuPaul's new song "Lucky". On the mainstage, all four were praised for their colourful and infectious video and, after performing a lipsync to Whitney Houston's "I Learned from the Best" (the HQ2 Radio Mix), all four were kept in the running and sent to the finale for a chance at the crown.
10. Which drag queen won "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 13?

Answer: Symone

Mimicking the 'Lipsync for the Crown' format seen in earlier seasons with live finales, this season pitted queens against each other in head-to-head lipsyncs to Britney Spears tracks. Kandy Muse faced off against Rosé to "Work Bitch", winning a spot in the final performance while Symone bested Gottmik to the song "Gimme More".

It led to one final song and dance against the pair who were formerly saved in the double-save earlier in the season, but Symone eked out the win to Spears' "Till the World Ends" to take the crown, the title, and the $100,000 grand prize.
