Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. This season featured a record-breaking number of queens. How many entered the competition this time around?

Answer: Sixteen

Although other seasons in not-too-distant years past featured a split premiere in which half of the queens debuted in the first episode and the other half debuted in the second, this season revised the format, giving eight queens their introductions and a photoshoot, giving eight more the same, then uniting them to practice for a One-Night-Only Talent Show on the main stage where one queen would be sent home.

In addition to this season seeing a record-breaking sixteen queens in one go, it was also the first season to feature twins-- Sugar and Spice were introduced as two queens entering at the same time, but both going for the crown individually.
2. For this season's Snatch Game, how many impersonations did the queens need to provide?

Answer: One

Because this season held Snatch Game so early (episode four), the queens were still required to bring forth only one impersonation, but participate in one of two Snatch Games instead of a single one if only just to ensure there weren't too many contestants.

This means that seven competed in round one and seven competed in round two with only Loosey LaDuca taking the win at the end. Surprisingly, the two bottom queens were twin competitors Sugar and Spice, and after a lip sync to Pat Benatar's "You Better Run", Ru sent Sugar packing to split up the pair.
3. For one of this season's design challenges, the queens had to divide into three distinct Fashion Houses. Which was not one of them?

Answer: The House of Charles

After the queens partook in their reading challenge for the season in episode 5, Ru informed them all that they'd be embarking on a design challenge working in groups to strip a room bare of its furnishings and design garments to suit. The catch was that each room was to be from a different fashion house inspired by the judging panel-- a Palm Springs house inspired by Ross Matthews, a town and country house inspired by Carson Kressley, and a New Jersey house inspired by Michelle Visage. Amethyst and Salina EsTitties both landed in the bottom with garments from the House of Visage and had to perform "Q.U.E.E.N." in front of its singer, Janelle Monae.

After her third time in the bottom it was Amethyst who went home.
4. This season saw the return of what past "Drag Race" acting scenario?

Answer: Daytona Wind

'Daytona Wind', which appeared in the previous season, reappeared in this one during the seventh episode. While the queens of the first iteration were surprised by the post-produced flatulence noises that were added to their performances by the time they made it to the main stage, 'Daytona Winds 2' changed things a bit, instead opting to push the queens more into the absurd (a la "Tim & Eric").

After a puffer-look-inspired runway, Mistress Isabelle Brooks claimed the win this week while Jax and Aura Mayari performed in the bottom to Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa's "Sweetest Pie".

Despite placing first the week before, Aura was eliminated this time, leaving ten to compete.
5. The Lip Sync Lalaparuza Smackdown occurred during the top ten week. Which queen was spared from facing off in the final lip sync by one of her fellow competitors?

Answer: Spice

While in Season 14 the queens faced this hurdle after a problematic Snatch Game, this challenge was plugged in for all of the competitors regardless of their track records. All ten queens hit the runway in their lip sync best and had their names drawn from a bingo spinner. Whichever queens were pulled could choose their competitor, but their competitor could choose the song from a list of seven. What these head-to-heads boiled down to was three queens in the final round and the last to have their ball drawn-- Anetra-- was allowed to send one of her competitors to safety.

She chose to spare Spice and face Jax to "Finally" by Cece Peniston. Jax was subsequently sent home.
6. This season's ball episode celebrated the show's 200th episode. What was the theme?

Answer: The Crystal Ball

After two hundred episodes, the show ended up with nine queens in the workroom to showcase three looks, the first of which involved a take on RuPaul's outfit in the show's opening sequence, the second of which needed to be inspired by a past "Drag Race" ball, and the third of which, made from scratch, needed to be Crystallized Eleganza. Sasha Colby won this particular challenge and Salina EsTitties and Spice were sent to the bottom to lip sync to "Thats What I Want" by Lil Nas X. Salina EsTitties was spared for a second time while Spice went home in ninth place.
7. The RuSical performed by the final six queens was a riff on what classic 1980s film?

Answer: Footloose

After a history of iffier RuSicals on the show, 'WigLoose' might have been the tightest of all, allowing all six queens to showcase their dancing, acting, and lip syncing on the main stage in one of six meatier roles, all of which had to do with a town that set out to ban drag. Highly topical despite being created a year before controversies around banning drag performances in some U.S. states, it led all six queens to be praised for their work and forced the judges to rely heavily on runway looks (the theme being 'Everybody Say Glove!') for their critiques. Lip syncing against Loosey to "Running Up That Hill" by Kate Bush, it was Salina's time to go home after four instances in the bottom two.
8. This season's makeovers were performed on which of the following?

Answer: Teachers

In the penultimate in-studio challenge, the final five queens needed to participate in the customary makeover challenge, this time creating drag family resemblances between themselves and teachers selected by the mini-challenge winner, Loosey, who paired them off per her own strategic decisions. On the main stage, after showing off their paired looks, the participating teachers performed lip syncs for additional prizes, but the queens faced their critiques and Loosey was placed in the bottom against Luxx, competing against one another to Hayley Kiyoko's "For the Girls". Loosey was the one sent home, narrowly missing the final round.
9. This season's main competition ended with a RuMix to what RuPaul track?

Answer: Blame It on the Edit

The last round the queens faced in-studio was the traditional RuMix wherein the queens had to write their own verses and perform choreography in a music video to one of RuPaul's new songs. This season, they had to take on a futuristic look while writing along to "Blame It on the Edit" from Ru's 2022 album "Mamaru". Sasha and Luxx were moved directly to the finale while Mistress and Anetra had to perform one last time on the main stage (to "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta ft. Kelly Rowland). Ultimately, Ru chose to keep both of them for the finale, breaking her streak of eliminations.
10. Which queen won "RuPaul's Drag Race" season 15?

Answer: Sasha Colby

This season's finale took the final four queens to the live stage to face off against one another in original numbers, much like in Season 13, and when all four had completed their routines, Ru decided to push Anetra and Sasha Colby to the top two for one final lip sync performance. Competing head-to-head one last time to Amii Stewart's "Knock on Wood", both queens powered through outfit reveals and precise dance moves to wow the crowd and RuPaul crowned Sasha Colby as this season's winner. Sasha, in addition to becoming the main series' second transgender winner, took a cash prize of $200,000 and a year's supply of Anastasia Beverly Hills cosmetics as her reward.
