The original title of the show as "Between Heaven and Hell" because the show's creator, Agnes Nixon, injected more social reality and ethnic diversity into the show than had previously been a feature of daytime drama.

Prospect Park's tree logo appears after the credits of each online episode. Many soap opera fans have compared the move to this new platform to the time when serial dramas moved from the radio to broadcasting on television.

The idea behind "Anytime TV" came from the strategy of releasing the new episodes onlne at 5 am Eastern Standard Time and leaving it up to the viewers when during the week to watch. Originally the shows were released four days each week with a summary/pop culture wrap-up on Fridays.

After a couple of weeks, Prospect Park cut back to two half hour episodes weekly but began to release the whole week on Monday leaving it up to viewers whether to watch day by day or binge on a week's worth of episodes.
