This facility is useful in diagnosing what is wrong with a house. It also allows him to discuss unfinished relationship business with the ghost of his deceased father.

Susan Ireland, played by Sarah Levy, is a highly-attractive, high-powered real-estate salesperson. Her sexual relationship with her former boss fizzled when he decided to go back to his wife. She compared her first day on the new job with Winston Zeddmore joining the Ghostbusters. Tim Rozon and Sarah Levy worked together previously when he played Mutt Schitt and she played Twyla Sands on "Schitt's Creek".

From her childhood, Susan had both the power to move objects with her mind and to start fires psycho-kinetically. These powers become occasionally useful in the show. She uses her ability to start fire mischievously in Season 1, Episode 7, "Quarantine." She uses her ability to move things with her mind to save the day in Season 1, Episode 9, "White Wedding".

Answer: Roman Catholic priest

Adam Korson plays paranormal researcher Phil Orley, called "Father Phil" because he was formerly a Roman Catholic priest. Father Phil was expelled by the church because he is gay. He appears to be a straight male, in contrast to his partner Anthony, played by Paul Ewan Wilson) who sings Gilbert and Sullivan and is rather flamboyant.

August Ripley, played by Maurice Dean Wint, is forever quoting a poem, novel, essay or philosophic text appropriate to the situation in which the group finds themselves. He begins in Season 1, Episode 1, by quoting Edgar Allen Poe. His office is a collection of exotic devices and instruments where he goes to tinker, as seen in Season 1, Episode 7, when he goes there with Zooey.

Answer: she has dated both men and women

While they are trapped in the firm's office in Season 1, Episode 7, "Quarantine", Zooey discloses to Augie that she is bisexual. Savannah Basley plays Zooey, dressed in black like a Goth, as a complex character who does not appreciate being underestimated. Zooey and Susan clash at first but then begin to build a relationship over Season 1.

Luke and his father chat in places which have some shared meaning to them. For example, in Season 1, Episode 2, Luke and Carl (played by Art Hindle) play miniature golf together and converse. Similarly, in Season 1, Episode 4, they bowl together at a bowling alley called Funland. In Season 1, Episode 10, Luke goes to the bowling alley to find his dad but he is not there.

Answer: the 1950 motion picture "Harvey"

Luke does not use the word "ghost" and calls it "the G word." In "The Harvey", the Quincy family is vexed by a malevolent spirit pretending to be the imaginary friend of their young son Jamie. Luke calls such ghosts "Harveys" in reference to the invisible giant rabbit in the Jimmy Stewart movie.

The Quincy's Harvey is a cute little pig-tailed girl in a red gingham print dress who, when provoked, turns into a ravenous demon with black eyes, sharp pointed teeth and claws.

Luke demonstrates the ability to see (sometimes) and communicate with the spirits of the departed. He has similar powers to see and talk to demons. In Season 1, Episode 10, "The House Always Wins", once Luke's sister's spirit is exercised, his powers disappear. He goes to the bowling alley to find his dad but Carl is not there.
