The challenge, "Jo-Coconut" had the tribe members fill a jar with coconut juice. The last tribe member to fill the jar had to carry it to the finish line. Leann tripped on her journey but regained herself and won the challenge for Yasur, which was their first win at a challenge since the tribe shift.

In the challenge the tribes had to shoot tiles, the tile was considered broken once it was connected to no more then two wires. Each player had a column. Once their column was finished that tribe member could no longer compete. Leann was the first player out of the challenge. Before Rory's final shot he said "This one is for my baby boy" as he shot out his last tile.

Leann was the first one eliminated. Rory was the last tribe member competing for Yasur and they won. He was on fire and had to shoot at his own tiles since he had two remaining; once all of your tiles were shot out you were out of the competition.

The merge occurred in the eighth episode. This was announced just before the immunity challenge. After the merge the tribe had to come up with a new flag and a new name. The name they chose was Alinta which meant 'people of the fire.'

7. In the reward challenge called "Fire Fighter", Lopevi was the winning tribe.

Answer: True

This challenge was a relay race with water. One tribe member had to fill a bucket of water from the ocean and toss it to another tribe member. They would continue toss the bucket until it got to the last tribe member who would then who would have to catch the water in a new bucket and fill a jar. Once the jar was full it would lower to the ground and light a flame on the fire tower. Chris figured out that if you caught the bucket low to the ground, you would lose less water.

This tactic brought Lopevi from behind to win the challenge.

The reward was cookies, chocolate cake and milk.

8. Who was the ninth member to be voted off the island?

Answer: Rory

Rory was voted off by the vote of 6-4. All the women voted for Rory and all the men voted for Ami. That was the first time that Ami received any votes.

9. In the reward challenge called "Head Hunter", the winner won a helicopter ride and a picnic lunch of chicken wings and champagne. The winner was Leann, who did she take with her?

Answer: Julie

When they returned to their camp, they brought back some wings to share with their women companions. When the women were done eating, Leann and Julie showed the men that they had brought back the bones to share with the rest of the tribe. The men went crazy seeing that they had some meat left on the bones, and the women had to pretend to be excited as well even though they had just feasted on the wings with all the meat still on them.

Answer: Lea

Lea was voted off with seven votes. Chris joined the women in the voting. Lea voted for Eliza and Chad voted for Julie.
