Beginning Leg 7, the six remaining teams departed from their sixth Pit Stop at the Bahai House in Delhi, India and were told to head through New Delhi to find their next clue at the Deshbandhu Apartments. Because the six teams arrived at the Bahai House in the evening, they departed early in the morning on the following day within about an hour span of one another.

Answer: Tina

Arriving at the Deshbandhu Apartments in New Delhi, one member of each team was asked to perform a Road Block task. For this Road Block, the selected team member was required to head into a local festival in which locals threw powdered dye and water at the racers and climb one of several ladders to search for a clue.

Their clue would be found in only one of six envelopes amongst several hundred, so patience and luck were a must. Starr, Dallas, Kelly, Terence, Dan, and Ken completed this task.

Answer: 'Bleary Eyed'

After the Road Block, teams were told to make their way to the Charity Birds Hospital in India's largest Jain Temple, Jain Mandir, where their Detour task could be found inside the cages of sick and injured birds. For this Detour, teams chose between 'Bleary Eyed' and 'Teary Eyed'.

In 'Bleary Eyed', teams needed to go to a nearby intersection and meet with a member of the Department of Power. Then, they needed to follow a power line and count the numbers on small tags along said line. Once they gave these numbers in, they needed to plug in a musical device at a specific shop to get their next clue.

In 'Teary Eyed', teams needed to deliver two large bags of chilies to a local shop, then grind chilis into powder to get their next clue. Only Terence and Sarah completed the latter task while the rest completed 'Bleary Eyed'.

Answer: Ken and Tina

Before attempting the Detour task, Ken and Tina had to complete a Speed Bump task having placed last during the previous leg (a non-elimination leg). As such, they had to make their way to Gurdwara Sis Ganj Sahib (in Chandni Chowk) to hand out holy water to the local Sikhs.

When Ken and Tina had appeased the Sikhs waiting for them, they were able to return to the Detour and rejoin the other racers on the course.

Answer: Kelly and Christy

After the Detour task, teams were told to make their way to the seventh Pit Stop of the race, Humayun's Tomb in Delhi, a large garden tomb complex. The Pit Stop mat could be found at Isa Khan's Tomb. For the third time in a row (and the fourth time during the race), siblings Nick and Starr secured the first place position landing on the mat and, this time, won themselves a Travelocity trip for two to Hawaii. Kelly and Christy became the sixth team eliminated from the race.

Answer: Kazakhstan

Teams departed from the seventh Pit Stop at Humayun's Tomb in Delhi, India and were told to make their way to the airport to fly to Almaty, a major city of Kazakhstan, over one thousand miles away. All five remaining teams boarded and flew to either Frankfurt, Moscow, or Dubai arriving late at night. Once there, teams visited the Alel' Agro Chicken Factory in the Almaty Oblysy to find their next clue box and task.

Answer: Nick and Starr

Arriving at the Alel' Agro Chicken Factory, teams had the chance to attempt the Fast Forward, the second and only remaining one on the entire race course. For this task, teams needed to go to the Alasha Restaurant in Almaty to partake in a local meal consisting of a Kazakh delicacy, Korduk, which is essentially fat from a sheep's rear.

Although Terence and Sarah attempt to complete this task to get the Fast Forward, Terence could not complete it (being a vegetarian) and Nick and Starr quickly ate their meal.

As a result, the two of them got to skip all tasks and head directly to the next Pit Stop while the other racers continued on.

Answer: Gold

At the Alel' Agro Chicken Factory, one member of each team needed to complete a Road Block task in which the selected participant needed to don special gear and enter a henhouse full of chickens. Searching through over thirty thousand chickens, that member needed to locate one of only seven hidden golden eggs to receive their next clue. Tina, Sarah, Toni, and Andrew completed this task; neither Nick nor Starr needed to partake in this having won the Fast Forward.

The rest of the teams headed (via crane truck) onward to Kok Tobe Arch in Almaty.

Answer: Cow

Arriving at Kok Tobe Arch, teams received their next clue from the talons of a golden eagle trained by local warriors. This was a Detour utilizing the choices 'Act Like Fools' and 'Play Like Mad'. In 'Act Like Fools', teams needed to find a local puppet theater and don a cow costume (with both members taking a different end.

Then, walking through the streets of Almaty, the teams needed to locate a milk stall to drink a glass of milk (the head of the cow drank the milk). At the bottom of the glass, was the location of the next destination, a bazaar where they would receive a clue leading to the Pit Stop. Teams then needed to carry the cow to the Pit Stop with them. All four participating teams completed this task.

In 'Play Like Mad', teams needed to learn traditional instruments (one on the dombra and the other on a shang-kobuz) at the State Museum of National Musical Instruments and learn a traditional song.

They then needed to perform this on the street to accumulate a dollar fifty (USD) in tips before heading to the next Pit Stop with their dombra in tow.

Answer: Terence and Sarah

After the Detour, teams were specifically told to head on foot to the eighth Pit Stop of the race, Old Square in Almaty. Nick and Starr, fresh off their delectable Fast Forward challenge, once again took an easy first place win marking their fourth consecutive victory and fifth in total.

They each won a waverunner for their first place. Terence and Sarah, despite Andrew and Dan's misreading of the final clue, were unable to catch up after failing to complete the Fast Forward, and were subsequently eliminated from the race.
