Andrew did many horrible things to his mother but the worst was when she found him in bed with Peter, her AA sponsor and growing love interest. He was a sex addict and Andrew abused that information to hurt his mother. After that, Bree didn't want to compromise her sobriety or her sanity and she decided to abandon Andrew at a gas station in order to save herself.

When Bree approached Tom and asked for his tie he didn't know what to do or say, but Lynette saw the intensity in Bree's eyes and quickly said, "Give it to her! Give it to her!" While changing his tie was strange enough, she even lifted his body out from the coffin to place it correctly.

However, like most things in her life, Bree breathed a sign of relief when the tie was in place and he was 'perfect.'

Danielle only truly cared about herself for the majority of her teen years and she lashed out at people in very childish ways when she felt angry or wronged. While it had been best for someone other than her to raise her son while she was a teenager, her retrieval of him years later devastated Bree, but it also became her inspiration and motivation to write and publish the cookbook.

Orson had a problem with this title because Bree had decided to bill herself as "Mrs. Van De Kamp" rather than "Mrs. Hodge," which he felt was an affront to him and their marriage. Again, this did not sit well with Orson and it began a long string of problems in their marriage.

It was Tom's pepper shaker that he stole second (after stealing Andrew's 'Mont Blanc' pen), but it was the first item Bree caught him holding onto. Bree mistakenly returned Karen's figurine to Gabby's house, thinking that it was hers, and was almost caught but she instead allowed Gabby to blame it on her daughter, Juanita. Bree had thought it was Gabby's because it was Mexican in nature, but Gabby made sure to mention that she hated the figurine and kept telling Mrs. McCluskey that it was extremely racist. Finally, it was Bob and Lee's coffee mug theft that made Bree realize that Orson was not going to stop stealing as she had made him promise, but instead that she may have a much bigger problem on her hands.

Whenever the housewives reminisce over the first time they had met Bree, each of them commented on the fact that she gave them muffins and said she wanted the basket back. Wayne Davis was shot and killed by Katherine and Matthew Applewhite was shot and killed by police snipers after he began to point his gun at Bree.

Katherine pointed out that she had never seen Bree work with molten sugar and that Katherine always executed that dessert. When the news crew arrived, Katherine faked a wrist injury and requested that Bree complete the task. Bree had some difficulty with clumping as she tried to spin the sugar, but it was when she placed the netting on the cake that the real problem was revealed.

The sugar was stuck to her shirt, jewelry, and hands, and she ended up having to bite it off and tie it in an unappealing bow.

Both Bree and Orson were accused of killing their spouses (Rex and Alma) even though neither of them had. And finally, Bree has stated many times that she is Presbyterian and very committed to the church.
