Lynette has always been a very protective and jealous wife, and this incident with Tom was no exception. While she had nothing to worry about, she felt extremely threatened and came to blows with Gabby after she found her in their house helping Tom with the groceries.

Gabby finally gave Zack the boot when he impulsively proposed to her at the opening of Scavo's Pizzeria, and it definitely was the right decision to make.

Gabby originally disliked Virginia because she had discovered that Carlos' massages had given her 'unintended' effects. Virginia's money was very appealing to Gabby and they forged a friendship with her. However, as time passed, Virginia's demanding requests and odd actions started to make them very uncomfortable.

They allowed her back into their life upon the discovery that she had made them the sole heirs to her fortune, but Gabby eventually had to put her foot down when Virginia made the decision to send her children to boarding school.

Shayla was rarely seen but frequently mentioned as the drama of Bradley's affair unfolded. After Gabby confronted her, Bradley confronted Gabby, which lead to Bradley telling Maria the truth and telling Carlos that he was fired from his job. Maria murdered Bradley when he told her that he was leaving her for Shayla, and Bradley hadn't yet informed his bosses that he had fired Carlos, so after all was said and done, Carlos was promoted to Bradley's old position and received a handsome raise.

Gabrielle has proven herself to be a very interesting mother. A testament to Gabrielle's determination has been shown through the relationship she has with her daughter, Juanita. Juanita constantly challenges her, questions her, talks back, and has really toughened her up as a mother.
