"The Dresden Files" - "Soul Beneficiary" Quiz

He woke up to her bringing in a tray of eggs and bacon to him in the bed. She called him "honey" and he said he was sorry that he couldn't remember her name. Then the scene flipped to Harry's office where he was meeting with a potential client.

He was from the Highland Park neighborhood and was having premonitions that he would die. Shortly after Harry told him that he wouldn't take the case, he stood up and died before leaving the office. The only other thing Harry told the police was that the man had been married for 10 years and enjoyed running.

The first time he officially met her, she stopped by the office to see where her husband had died. This was during the time when Dresden was investigating where Kelton had died. There was what appeared to be a shrine in the office. Nancy then got upset and also had an apparent heart attack in nearly the exact same spot as her husband.

Nancy was played by Karen Cliche and Kelton by Hamish McEwan. Bob tried to blame the deaths on a random connection to Dresden and him causing hearts to stop. It turned out to be a connection to Bob's past though.

Harry carried it with him in several episodes as he went around investigating things. In this episode Harry used it to defend against Kelton Franks when he was found alive less than 12 hours after he had died in Harry's office.

After finding him alive hours after he dropped dead, Dresden brought him back to the office. Bob investigated the man's live body and found traces of black magic. At this point he was going by the name of Paul Woods. This time the man was killed again, in Harry's office again. The last time he was killed with a knife, not to be brought back.

The license was evidence from the crime. He lifted the evidence bag out of her pocket while they were discussing the second death of Kelton. This was just before he found Nancy, once again alive, in his office.

Part of her plot in the murders was to collect insurance checks. The other side of that was an ancient plot of using dark magic to control people's minds and bodies. She was played by Kerry LaFaitt.

They moved to Milwaukee and Dresden was put under the name of Jerry Tilden. Dresden was used in place of the permanently dead Kelton for one last crack at a payout.

She chased him around the house with the knife. They trashed most of the house while he tried to stay away from her. Eventually the potion, which was meant for him, set in on Nancy and she gave up trying to kill him.
