Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. House's boss for the first seven seasons, an acquaintance of his all the way from college, who eventually embarks on a brief romantic relationship with House with an abrupt end

Answer: Lisa Cuddy

Cuddy was known to House even before the events of season 1, since the two of them had met in medical school (and had a brief affair while students). As we later learn from Wilson, Cuddy was virtually the only hospital director willing to employ House, his previous bosses having fired him or sued him.

As the series progresses, their feelings for each other lead them into embarking on a relationship at the end of season 6, but midway through season 7 Cuddy breaks up with House, ostensibly because of his relapse into his Vicodin addiction (which was triggered by House's fear that Cuddy might have cancer). Later, in a fit of rage, House drives his car into Cuddy's dining room, for which he is arrested and imprisoned for roughly a year. Immediately after the incident, Cuddy resigns her position as Dean of Medicine, ultimately replaced by Eric Foreman.
2. House's former girlfriend, later got married to a man named Mark, briefly took a job in Princeton Plainsboro in order to be close to her husband, thus having to confront her latent feelings for House

Answer: Stacy Warner

Stacy's relationship with House is explored in the first seasons. Stacy was present when the incident that caused House's leg issue occurred. For all the affection that existed between them, the relationship ended. Later, Stacy's husband, Mark, was admitted into Princeton Plainsboro and taken under House's care, prompting Stacy to work there temporarily, in order to be near her husband. Stacy tells House that she still has feelings for him, but the doctor advises her to return to her husband and move on. We do not see the Warners again after Mark is healed, although Stacy appears as a hallucination of House in the last episode.
3. A radiologist whom House described as a "Cutthroat Bitch", she later entered a relationship with Wilson, which ended tragically with her death during an accident, which caused House guilty feelings

Answer: Amber Volakis

Throughout her appearances in the series, Amber is the closest to an antagonist for House. Their lack of compatibility further strains their co-existence when Amber becomes Wilson's girlfriend, resulting in the two of them quarreling vis-a-vis Wilson's "custody".

After the accident that causes Amber's death (for which House blames himself, since his inebriated state resulted in Amber being in the scene of the accident), Wilson, heartbroken, thinks of leaving Princeton Plainsboro and terminating his friendship with House, but later relents.

In season 5, House has hallucinations of Amber, which he is unable to banish, until he is admitted into a mental hospital.
4. Member of House's first diagnostic team, resigned from the team at the end of season 3, but stayed in the hospital and had a brief marriage with Robert Chase

Answer: Allison Cameron

Cameron, a member of the first diagnostic team, was briefly attracted to House, but her main arc revolves around her on-and-off relationship with Robert Chase. It is also revealed that she struggles to get over the death of her first husband, who succumbed to thyroid cancer. Eventually, she and Chase get married, but their marriage deteriorates after Chase, and, in stark violation of medical principles, causes the death of an African dictator, who has being hospitalized in Princeton Plainsboro. The couple divorces and Cameron leaves her position in the hospital.

In the series finale, we learn that she fond a job somewhere else and eventually became a mother.
5. House usually refers to her as "Thirteen", a secretive character with a backstory that slowly gets revealed to the audience

Answer: Remy Hadley

Remy Hadley was hired by House after Allison Cameron quit her job as part of the team at the end of season 4. Her character was conceived as an opposite to that of Cameron in many respects. In season 5, House concludes that she is suffering from Huntington's disease. Later, Thirteen becomes romantically involved with her colleague, Eric Foreman, a relationship that House disapproves of since it can potentially minimize their effectiveness as doctors. Eventually, the pair splits up. For most of season 7, she was absent for reasons later revealed to the audience (she was in jail after assisting her brother commit suicide).

In the last season, when House tried to reassemble his old team, she returned only to say goodbye.
6. A woman with whom House had a brief tryst in the beginning of season 6 and later helped discover what was going wrong with her sister-in-law, becoming clear that he had some sentiments for her, but, unfortunately for him, the lady cannot leave her family to be with him

Answer: Lydia Bohm

The surname Bohm is enough for House to surmise (and sarcastically comment on) Lydia's German origins. House observes also that she frequently comes to play the piano for the sake of her sister-in-law (House is also adept in playing the piano). Eventually, House tries to find a way to heal the woman, while developing some level of affection for Lydia, notwithstanding the fact that she is married.

After Lydia's sister-in-law gets better due to House's correct conclusions, the latter requests from his doctor, Dr. Nolan, to give him an overnight pass, which Nolan reluctantly grants him. House goes to Lydia's house and is surprised when her son opens the door. Lydia announces that she and her family are going to move to Arizona. House is hurt, but Dr. Nolan tells him that since he was able to get close enough to a person to get hurt, his mental condition has improved.
7. Red-headed child prodigy and with a strict commitment to truth-telling, becomes a part of the team in season 7, but later leaves due to her methods being much different from House's

Answer: Martha Masters

Masters makes her appearance in season 7, when a position in House's team is open, because of the departure of Remy "Thirteen" Hadley. Cuddy later insists that House hires Masters, who has a lot in common with Cuddy, being a rather extremist version of her. For all the depth of her theoretical knowledge (which does not prevent her from revising at nights), Masters has little confidence in herself when it comes to actual medical procedures. Furthermore, her strict adherence to her own moral code conflicts with House's use of lying and manipulating when it is necessary to save a life. Finally, Masters herself resorts to lying in order to save a patient, performing an amputation which the patient herself had no desire of being performed. Although House tells her she did the right thing, she is clearly very upset and decides to leave her job at Princeton Plainsboro.
8. Of Korean and Filipino origins, becomes part of House's team in season 8 after hitting one of her superiors in the neurological department, later develops an attraction for Chase

Answer: Chi Park

Park appears in the eighth and last season of the series. Foreman, the new Dean of Medicine after Cuddy's departure, assigns her to House's team after she had hit a superior of hers in the neurological department (she did that because the other doctor was touching her in a rather inappropriate way).

As the season progresses, we learn more about Park's family background, her not-so-smooth relationship with her parents and also the care she bestows on her aged grandmother. Her attraction to Chase also develops gradually, including even erotic dreams involving him.
9. House meets her while in prison, where she worked as a volunteer doctor and later hires her in the team, feels guilty because of her privileged background, which is in contrast with her liberal worldview

Answer: Jessica Adams

Adams makes her first appearance in the first episode of season 8. Working as a volunteer doctor in the same prison where House is held, she is impressed with his medical genius. For all her objections to House's methods, she helps him cure a patient and to pay his "exit tax" of twenty Vicodin pills to the leader of a prison gang.

She later accepts a place in the team, where she often has to compromise her code of behaviour with House's unorthodox, yet brilliant methods.
10. An immigrant from Eastern Europe, she gets married to House in order to get her green card, the true extent of the couple's feelings for each other is slowly explored

Answer: Dominika Petrova

We are introduced to Dominika in season 7, shortly after House breaks up with Cuddy. Apparently intending to make his former partner jealous, House planned to have the ceremony conducted in the chapel near the hospital, but had to adjust his plans and hold it in his house.

After that, it is almost one year until we see Dominika again, since her interview for the green card is upcoming. She and House clearly develop some level of affection for each other, which results in House concealing from her the fact that her green card has arrived. Later, however, just as they are about to give their co-existence a corporeal dimension, Dominika is informed via a phone call that her request has been approved. House attempts to apologize, but his nominal wife just packs her things and leaves the apartment.
