The Ogg Monster appeared in the Comic Relief episode and was played by the series' co-writer Stephen Merchant.

One of my favourite episodes. The dialogue between Gareth, Tim and Dawn is superb.

The contrast in this scene is excellent. He appears to be finally saying something genuine and then tears it down with profanity.
