Duane Dibbley is an alter ego of the cat which first appeared in series five of 'Red Dwarf'. Danny is noted as a west end performer and dancer before his 'Red Dwarf' days. Dave Lister was the character played by Craig Charles on the show. Chris Barrie played both the dead hologram Arnold Rimmer and an alternative Rimmer named 'Ace' on the cult space-based comedy.

Stephen Merchant co-wrote both 'The Office' and 'Extras' with Ricky Gervais. Darren Lamb is a lazy incompetent agent in 'Extras'. Roberts Lindsay and Patrick Stewart both played themselves in parody (which were both excellent) on 'Extras'. Shaun Williamson kind of plays himself as Barry from 'Eastenders' on the programme.

Graham Linehan and Arthur Matthews combined to write 'Father Ted' in the 1990's. After the passing of the late great Dermot Morgan (who played Father Ted) the show came to an end. Graham went on to write The 'IT Crowd' on his own. Chris O'Dowd played Roy and Richard Ayoade played Moss on the show. Ardal O'Hanlon will probably be most remembered for his role as Father Dougal McGuire on 'Father Ted'. Both Linehan and Matthews played cameo roles on 'Father Ted'.

Lord Flashheart appeared in two 'Blackadder' episodes; 'Bells' in 'Blackadder II' and 'Private Plane' in 'Blackadder IV'. Captain Darling was played by Tim McInnerny, Baldrick by Tony Robinson and Lord Melchett by Stephen Fry.

Rik Mayall and Adrian Edmondson also starred together in 'The Young Ones'. Ade's Eddie Hitler character is coupled by Rik's manic Richard Richard character in a comedy that can be described as loony! Joanna Lumley was in 'Absolutely Fabulous' with Jennifer Saunders to whom Mr Edmonsdson has been married.

He also wrote the theme tune to 'Absolutely fabulous'. Nigel Planer is famed for his role in 'The Young Ones' also.

Answer: 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie'

'Jeeves and Wooster' was written by P.G. Wodehouse. 'A Bit of Fry and Laurie' ran from the late eighties into the nineties and was in essence, a comedy sketch show of the highest quality. Fry has since become one of the most respected men in Britain whereas Laurie has enjoyed success in the US on 'House'. Both men played fabulous characters in the 'Blackadder' series also; from the Prince of Wales to General Melchett.

David Jason is the key to this question. He played the part of Del Boy Trotter in 'Only Fools and Horses'. He also did the voices of 'Count Duckula' and 'Danger Mouse' in the two cartoons mentioned. The main character in 'Goodnight Sweetheart' was played by Nicholas Lyndhurst who also played the part of Rodney in 'Only Fools and Horses'. David Jason does not appear in 'Goodnight Sweetheart'.

Robert is also noted for recreating the dancing scene from 'Flashdance' during Comic Relief 2009. He has played the character of Jeremy Osborne on 'Peep Show'. David Mitchell played his room mate Mark and Matt King played the zany Super Hans. Webb and Mitchell have also starred in 2007 film 'Magicians'.

John Cleese, who played Basil Fawlty, got married to Connie Booth in 1968 but the marriage didn't last. Connie played Polly Sherman in 'Fawlty Towers' of which only twelve episodes were ever made. She also featured in many 'Monty Python' sketches. Prunella Scales played the part of Sybil Fawlty on the show. Neither Pamela Stephenson (best known for 'Not the Nine O'Clock News' and marriage to Billy Connolly) nor Dawn French (best known for 'French and Saunders' and 'The Vicar of Dibley') were involved in 'Fawlty Towers'.
