Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. What is the Santos' favorite song?

Answer: You Can Leave Your Hat On

Annabeth suggested that the President-Elect slip her the name of their favorite song and she would have the band play it for them at one of the inaugural balls. Mrs. Santos didn't like that idea because she didn't want to dance to 'You Can Leave Your Hat On' in front of everyone.
2. Did the President pardon Toby?

Answer: Yes

Toby's pardon was the last one that President Bartlet sent to the pardon attorney. The pardon had to be delivered to the attorney before President-Elect Santos took the oath of office.
3. What did the slip of paper CJ gave Josh have written on it?

Answer: WWLD

While CJ and Josh were talking in the Chief of Staff's office an hour before the inauguration would begin, CJ handed Josh a sticky note with the letters WWLD. The letters stood for 'What would Leo do'.
4. Mallory gave CJ something of her father's to give the President. The gift was seen in a previous episode. When the President opened the gift, what did he find inside?

Answer: Frame with a napkin that said 'Bartlet For America'

Mallory made an appointment to see CJ and during the visit she gave CJ a wrapped box for the President. While on Air Force One headed home, former President Bartlet opened the gift and found the napkin that Leo gave him the day he brought up Bartlet running for President. President Bartlet gave the framed napkin back to Leo in 2001 after Leo testified before Congress about his knowledge of the MS scandal.
5. What did the President give Charlie as a gift?

Answer: Copy of the Constitution

Charlie was the last person that President Bartlet talked to in the west wing before returning to the Oval Office. When the President gave Charlie the copy of the Constitution he said his father gave it to him in the tenth or eleventh grade.
6. Charlie decided to go work with CJ.

Answer: False

President Bartlet wrote a reference for Charlie that Charlie thinks got him into the early acceptance at Georgetown law.
7. When Helen Santos asked her husband if he wanted to skip town, where did he suggest they go?

Answer: Uruguay

The Santoses had just left Blair House for the Capitol when Helen asked Matt if he wanted to skip the country. When he asked about the kids, she said they would send them a postcard.
8. "When was the last time you used a telephone? Went to the bank? Drove a car?" Who made this quote?

Answer: Abbey

As they were walking to meet the Santoses, Abbey mentioned that the kids were going to be at the farm when they got there for moral support. She thought he would need help re-entering a world filled with mere mortals.
9. What did President Bartlet say he was going to miss most about being President?

Answer: The Marine Corps Band

President Bartlet and President-Elect Santos were in the limo headed to the capitol when President Bartlet mentioned what he was going to miss most about being President of the United States. He told President-Elect Santos to have the band play "Semper Fidelis" for him some time because it would blow his socks off.
10. What was the last word(s) ever spoken on "The West Wing"?

Answer: "Tomorrow."

All of these lines were spoken on the show except the marriage proposal. President Bartlet spoke the last word of the series premiere and the last word of the series finale. Former President Bartlet said the last word after his wife asked him what he was thinking about.
