Answer: The Observer

In keeping with the story's plot that the Observers are always watching but rarely acting in human affairs, the Observer always appears in each episode, although often, he is only seen for a very brief period of time and is very easy to miss.

3. Which FBI agent nearly dies from a parasite that has wrapped itself around his or her heart?

Answer: Mitchell Loeb

Mitchell Loeb, a double agent, purposely ingests the parasite to get crucial information about a case, nearly dying in the process.

4. Against even Walter's advise, Olivia willingly goes back into the tank. Why does she risk her life?

Answer: She wants to get John Scott's memories out of her head.

Ever since John Scott died, Olivia suffered from memories that were so real, she actually saw and heard him. Fearing for her sanity, she was willing to risk it all to purge her ex-fiance's memories from her mind.
