Cassidy Casablancas hires Veronica to see if his stepmother Kendall is cheating on her husband in the episode "Cheatty Cheatty Bang Bang". He wants to prove that she is violating her prenuptial agreement. In fact, she is working with her husband on shady business deals.

The story of "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" is about a man who invents a fantastic car that can fly. The episode story and the book do not have anything in common. The name was used because it sounds good onomatopoeically.
